Superb for car trip stopover, great location to the main road, wifi Internet and spacious clean room

Breakfast could be complemented with a bit more vegetables and fruits

Near the rail,,, kind of noisy when in lobby area. The rooms are at the other side of the hotel so that is no problem.

Great Dinner at a "reasonable price" - it is Europe and the cost is more in general. Good service, nice hotel.

We requested a "double" bedroom and got two beds side by side. A double means two separate beds in all cases. I was vacationing with my older daughter, and it was "awkward."

The staff were excellent. Our room was comfortable and a nice design. Lots if room and great for our family with two small children. Pool was warm and enjoyable.

It was a trek to the center of town with our little children because you have to backtrack to reach a bridge to cross the river. Otherwise, nice location overlooking river.

Plenty of free parking. A well run hotel. Spacious room. Very clean. Excellent restaurant. Ideal for car-borne tourers as it's close to the city centre but far enough away to be on the main roads and to profit from free parking.

Could be difficult to find, although we had no problem whatsoever. Coming across the bridge from Koblenz centre, just go through the tunnel, then take the first exit at the lights, double back on yourself and go under the railway bridge.

As avid runners, we loved the trails along the Rhine. We can run for long distances without getting lost!

All of the restaurant choices required a taxi ride, since it was off season and the ferry was limited

The location is superb, a short lovely walk across the Rhine into the Altstadt and if you spend the evening there a quick taxi ride back if you dont want to walk. The view from the room. A great location for drives down the Rhine and Mosel. We also went to Burg Eltz which is stunning especially if you make the short 1km walk through the wood. The ferry and cable car were closed when we were there but we intend to come back later in the season.

The service in the restaurant. Its a lovely location with great views and the food was very good. However it was a Sunday night and only a few guests were eating but the 'waitress' was always disappearing. In the end we even had to go to the bar for our bill. Wearing a scarf over her uniform also did not create a good impression.

The Rhein view from the room, amazing! The recently renovated rooms, very clean and confortable.

You need to pay an extra for the spa. The train pass very near the hotel, you can feel the vibration but frankly speaking doesent disturb me much.

The staff were very friendly and spoke good English, we went at Christmas - and the decoration and presentation of the hotel was superb - the music was tasteful - no standard uk Christmas rock songs thank goodness! River views were gorgeous, some English speaking tv channels Would go again - I guess that says it all

Taxi ride to city centre - but if the weather had been better we could have walked

Everything was very good. Room and staff excellent.

Sadly the very first image is of smokers inside the entrance and having to walk through them every time. Very poor first view.

The hotel room is very clean and comfortable. You have a direct view of the River Rhein. And the stuff at the reception was very friendly and welcome.

The Hotel itself is beautuful and the location above the Rhein is very good.

Slow Bar as Bar Waitress is also Dinner waitress so had to wait for her to become free

The staff were very friendly and the general atmosphere was cosy. Great location, right on the banks of the Rhine river and a great castle as a backdrop.

Railway just behind the hotel, trains could be heard in the room - even late at night. Poor brakfast buffet.

The location is very nice. The restaurant offers excellent food and wine. Parking is free.

Riverside , naar castle , near city for shopping

The swimming pool was more like a badtub, no wellness as described, the room was poor for a 4* hotel, breakfast-buffet not worthed the price which was not included in bookingprice. Coffee machine was empty, scrambelled eggs were cold, unfriendly personell. If we knew before we had chosen for breakfast in the old city for example in The Palais. I would visit Koblenz again but not in this hotel, services and facilities are not in line with price and not as in 4*hotel. And I've seen a lot 4* hotels.

Very poor condition

Nice lobby, good location, good breakfast, pool warm but small. Extra charge for the sauna and tanning bed unnecessary.

Dinner in restaurant was not good. Service was fine but food itself was unacceptable, particularly at the price charged. Euro 87 plus service and the flavors were just not there. The biggest disappointment was the bernaise served with the Chauteaubriand which was off in flavor and seemed like they had added a white wine to it. Sorry for the strong comments but they are truthful. I am a foodie, hotelier and former restaurant owner.
