Simple well designed accommodation. Very quiet and safe. Excellent location. Helpful staff. I would have liked a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea but I understand that simplicity and excellence were what the hotel aimed at and achieved.

My husband and I stayed there during New Years Eve and the hotel offered us a late checkout and breakfast. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet and the staff were very friendly and eager to wish us a happy new year. When booking I asked for a double room and the beds were too singles with a night stand in between them which was a little inconvenient.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was ok, as expected. The whole hotel was very very warm due to the summer heat. The few rooms with aircondition turned off the aircondition during night or when you left the room, so that was useless. Open window meant lots of noises from the nearby youth hostels. Parking in back yard, outside. Not the best option if you're concerned about your car. WLAN did not work except in the 'day room'. Ongoing renovations on some floors. Single working elevator meant somewhat long waiting times.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, just north of the Spree, one block from Friedrichstrasse. Breakfast was excellent! I would highly recommend that the wifi (wlan) be extended to the guest rooms. It was inconvenient to have to use my iPad, laptop in the lobby or in the hall outside the elevator.

Uns wurden dann ein Zwei-Bettzimmer und ein Ein-Bettzimmer zu einem Preis von 164,00 EUR zur Verfügung gestellt, da keine Aufbettung mehr möglich war. Ich hatte am 23.01.2013 mit der Buchungsnummer 266.324.514 1 Zimmer für 3 Personen vom 29.03. -30.03.2013 für 99,00 EUR +45,00 EUR Nebenleistungen über Booking.com gebucht. Als wir am 29.03.13 gegen 14:30 Uhr eintrafen, teilte mir die Dame an der Rezeption mit, dass unser Zimmer von Booking.com storniert wurde. ich erwarte dazu von Booking . com eine Erklärung.

Alles war soweit gut, aber nicht der Chefkoch. Zum Frühstück bestellten wir uns Spiegeleier, nach ca. 20 Minuten kam die Serviererin zu uns an den Tisch und sagte, der Chefkoch hatte ein wichtiges Telefongespräch und konnte die Spiegeleier noch nicht herstellen. Toller Chefkoch! So verwöhnt man seine Gäste.

Super Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe der Friedrichstraße, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar, trotzdem relativ ruhig in einer Nebenstraße gelegen. Teppiche im Zimmer wirkten schon etwas abgewohnt.
