Hotel Diplomat  

The location was fine and also the breakfast. The hotel staff was kind and atentious.

Good location close to the airport.

Very small outdated rooms on a noisy street. Our room- a double room- had two single beds, with two separate duveys. Not a very relaxing stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Diplomat for just one night, after our arrival at Frankfurt airport. This was one of the cheapest hotels I could find, and it is a great value for the money. The location is a short walk from the metro, with a direct connection from the metro to the Frankfurt train station and the Frankfurt International Airport. The location is also near the city center. There is a lift in the hotel, and breakfast was good. The hotel was clean & quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The nearby metro station is several flights of steps underground, with no lift. I had several pieces of very heavy luggage, and so getting to the hotel was extremely difficult. We ended up taking a taxi to the train station the next day - 10 Euros - because I knew I could not handle the stairs in the metro again. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's traveling light.

Breakfast ok but could of been more varied.

The hotel is highly recommended. The service is excellent in that the rooms are clean, daily 'refreshed' and with of course the daily necessities replenished. The staff is very friendly with 24-hr service at the door. The area might be the best the city of Frankfurt has to offer. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the downtown financial/commercial center. It has many small local shops in the area. It is a 3-minute walk from the Rhein river. It is on the opposite side of the airport with respect to the city center(less noise), yet offers great viewing of aircraft queing into FRA airport. - I have stayed multiple times in this hotel and not once have I not been satisfied.

Zeil main shopping street and old town is only 10-15mins walk from hotel. The hotel is also very close to Ostendstrasse train station. Consider the price paid, it is value for money, and better still it came with free breakfast.

Run down and not very clean. I asked for non smoking room, but still the whole room is full of smoking smell.

Very close to the s-bahn station. Clean, quiet rooms. English speaking staff. Good value for money.

No wifi in the rooms. It is only in breakfast room for 5 eur. Booking was without prepayment, but hotel charged for the first night one month in advance.

We've have a problem with our car and all staff tried to help us in spite of the holiday 31/12. If we're going to visit Frankfurt we'll stay in this hotel
