It was relatively clean. No shower, just a bath with a shower head. WIFI didn't reach bedrooms Male staff were very very rude. Breakfast was dull and cheap - some bread, processed cheese and ham, tinned fruit, UHT milk for cereal, instant coffee. No work has been done on the property for many decades. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Got woken up at 6am to move my car by a rude member of staff, after I paid £5 a day to keep it there. They didn't have my booking when I arrived and almost accused me of lying about it. They take the money upfront for a reason! Terrible hotel. Please find somewhere else to stay.

Hotel is located in the nice and very silent quarter of the city, near by metro station. The breakfast is good - not the best but enough. We had staing in the room #405. In a moment of booking we asked to prepare for us two separate beds. But in the room for two adult people we had got two beds for a half of adult person each. Blankets were same size as beds. We had pay 5 Euros for Wi-Fi per 3 nights. But Wi-Fi there was only in reception area. In the room Wi-Fi was only as nominated but really nothing was worked, even Skype. To check an e-mail in the room was impossible.

Nothing. Beds are very uncomfortable. Staff is not helpful at all. They wouldn't even give us a glass of water because the water taps in the bedroom had only warm water!!! Very noisy. Breakfast looks horrific.

The location made it very convenient. Very close to the S-Bahn station. The single bed was comfortable. The decor was very outdated - especially the bathroom which looks like a relic from the 1950s. I'm not convinced of the cleanliness of the ancient tiles and shower screen and the toilet had a smell about it. The hotel itself is also quite noisy, mainly due to the number of builders who stay there and come and go at all hours - smoking and speaking very loudly in the corridor. I was kept awake for two hours by an overly amorous couple in the next room until another guest bashed on their door to shut them up. Overall - it would be worth paying a little extra for a decent hotel.

Very good location, 1 minute from S-bahn, 5 minutes from U-bahn. A walking distance from nice & lively neighbourhoods to visit (Sachsenhausen, Bornheim, Nordend Ost). Staff was friendly; room and hotel were clean. Towels were nice, new and fluffy. No forks for breakfast! Only knives... Coffee was lukewarm. No curtain for the bath = wet bathroom after shower... Very basic facilities in room. Heating a little week, had to keep my warm clothing on in the room, on a -5 to +5 Centigrades night/day in mid February.

nothing i didn't like anything in this hotel it was the worst hotel and worst stay ever. i will start wit the reception & the lady who was there is unpolite she talks even if you don't ask here anything. i insist on the crazy women their & i think their was the paper exhibition so she did not stop saying if you are going to the exhibition or not this is the hotel policy for getting the full amount for the stay & it was only for 2 days. the hotel needs to be changed to a prison when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist directly wanted the rest of the money which i was surprised why she had to take all the stay, when i got in the room i realized why she took the money. the room was very very small with bad smell no heating the toilet looks like a public toilet with dirt the sheets smell bad & they choose the yellow color to hide the dirty look. the breackfast room is very small so the guests have to stand in line and wait for empty place or take their food standing. i wouldn't recommend this hotel even for my enemy.

Breakfast was ok I booked the Diplomat for three nights, which I assumed was the complete price. When we arrived they wanted to up the rates to 99 Euros a night,(I have the receipt) or leave, it was late so we had no choice, they said there was an ex erbition on in the City. I should have been told this before I booked. The toilet was broken and discusting,{badly stained) The shower sprayed all over the place and near the electrics, no shower curtain was there. Walldrobe doors would not close. I would price this so called Hotel at 25Euros a night max.

Location, breakfast is included I asked to book non-smoking room, strictly non-smoking, and it was big surprise when we receive keys of strictly smoking room. The smell was terrible, I asked to change the room but hotelier replied that they have no any other room and it will be better if I open the window.

Very good value for a central Frankfurt hotel...everything's in walking distance. Hotel is also clean and comfortable. Parking available on site for 5 Euro, which was a bonus. We didn't get up in time for breakfast but this being included was another plus point. Shower was hand-held, rather than fixed onto the wall. With no shower curtain, this was a sure-fire way of soaking the bathroom floor in no time!

Location -- very handy for S-bahn. A bit Spartan, but it is a two-star establishment. Shower and toilets are very 1960s.
