Location, grounds and thermal baths
Beds a bit on the hard side
Room was not clean
The landscape, the location was fabulous for us, old people!!! but in good shape. The service of maintenance in the rooms very good. The breakfast wasn't as great as in other 4 star hotels we have been.
The way that the new owners take care of the property = poorly!! The carpets in the rooms & corridors have plenty of stains!!! the water in toilet was running day & night the whole week we were there.
- Hotel has seen obviously "better times" at Kaiser Wilhelm's time. Everything is so historic, inclusive the stains and dirt at door frames, mirrors and bathrooms. - We are not depending on complimentary water, but a minibar is to be expected in a hotel of this grading. - At a hotel with international guests I would expect that I have a porter who takes care of my luggage so that I have not to carry it myself to the room. As a final personal thought, I would like to suggest that your hotel surrenders one star or two, to mach up with the service and facilities provided.
By the riverside, away from all city traffic. Good breakfast. Inhouse thermal bath. Live music-afternoons with dance in front of the hotel.
Some of the furniture in the bathroom shows the sign of wearing off.
Very comfortable room with excellent bathroom
The thermal pool was supposed to be connected but wasn't and entrance included in price but wasn't.
The park with the salinen was interesting. We found a good restaurant in another hotel in the park
Hotel was not 4 stars. It was rundown. Spa facilities below standard for what was advertised. Beds were uncomfortable. First room was on the firth floor accessible only up a narrow dimly lit staircase. At this point we asked for a refund for the prepaid room and iour request was denied. To upgrade to a livable room, we had to pay 15 euros more. The room was not up to German standard of cleanliness.
Live music in the park below the balcony with people dancing.
Mold and mildew in the bathtub. Paid for an outside room but was given an inside room; staff corrected the problem.
I lived in BK 30 years ago as a young airman. I have talked a lot of how beautiful and wonderful the area was. I took a group of 8 to the PK and they loved the hotel and fell in love with the city. The city has changed in 30 years, but it still holds the flavor I remember. The PK is a fine hotel and pleasant helpful staff. Rooms were good and large. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. We have two free days on this vacation and we just might go back again.
The only real issue was the internet service. Different passwords for every floor and sparse coverage in the corner rooms, but we survived.
Great location next to spa house and public spa features. Lovely pool area over-looking the river and pretty gardens around hotel. Food good
Felt large and impersonal after staying in some smaller family run hotels, bar was never open. This is a good hotel which just did not appeal to us so much.
Poor internet, outdated, old TV and none in bedroom. Needs paint
It was good to use free termal bath
Facilities are too old and renovation is definately needed. On my visiting, Elevator to thermal bath was out of order and we need to took a detour through outside with bath gown.
No coffee in room
nice view of river. easy access to the therme baths that we discovered by accident and realized they are holistic salt water pools.
omg...update the hotel! It is straight out of the 1960s heyday. I am sure there are better more with the times hotels in town. Also the website is deceiving in that the hotel does not have its own pool. Its just attached to the public thermal salt water pools next door with free entry. But it is a public pool, and thus crowded and dirty.
The location is excellent for walking to everything of interest. We always enjoy the nice variety at breakfast. Pleasant lobby area.
The hotel overall is in need of an update.
Nice loctation with direct access to the therme
The first room was really run-down. The hotel mamagement should see not to rent out un-renovated rooms with un-fresh furniture. The heating was not functioning thoough we've been there in December! We got a better room without problems, nice and warm!
Friendly staff, nice breakfast and nice bar man.
There were no saunas. The restaurant staff was lacking some professionalism
Location and wellness facilities
The hotel premises urgently need renovation
SPA (excellent), breakfast, park outside, lobby, friendly staff
For sure none 4* room: - bathroom shower very low quality - lights not always starts well especially in bathroom - no refrigerator - pure WiFi (tickets every 500MB, low quality and stability)
It was located next to the thermal baths.
Where to start. It smelled badly-our room smelled like awful body odor. The place hosted Ataturk in 1917,and it looks as though it hasn't been renovated since then. It must have been gorgeous in its heyday, but it was pretty dismal. Hardly anyone there, either. Surly staff. Very unpleasant stay.
The staff were not friendly. At breakfast not one member of staff said a word, not even good morning! Coffee was brought to the table without asking if we wanted any or if we preferred something else. We've stayed here a number of times and each time hope the staff will be friendly, but I think it's a lost cause. Doubt we will be staying here again.
When we arrived they had no record of our booking and they had to contact you to confirm it. This around forty minutes and the room they put us in seemed just to be an afterthought not what I would call a four start hotel room.
quiet, clean, safe, downtown Bad Kreuznach
Small bed, unpractical shower/tub batroom, outdated TV
this is one hotel you must vista a park setting spa everything about it we loved it
There was no air conditioning.
