Hotel Drei Kronen

The hotel is fantastic, it is like in home when living in the hotel Drei Kronen.

Very clean and comfortable. View on the river, near the Dom

Lovely view over the Rhine and very close to the dock for our river cruise ship.Convenient for city sites and amenities.Room was modern and clean. Staff really helpful as we needed to leave our bags for a couple of hours after check-out and they were happy to assist. Food in attached restaurant also good.

Very noisy on a Saturday night. Surrounded by late late discos and a great deal of street noise from midnight until 5am. Would have liked to have a breakfast menu rather than just be presented with a platter of meat and cheese (which was plentiful!) - for instance, didn't know it was possible to have eggs until another guest asked for them.

It was right on the river. Very pretty view. Breakfast was very good.

Our room was on the top floor (fourth) and there is no elevator and a very narrow stair case to go up with your luggage. No ice available.

A bit noisy at the entrance side of the hotel, due to a bar/pub. Rhine side was OK.

The hotel was very central so it was easy to get to and around Koln.

My room had a faulty window in that it could not close any better so there was some cold air coming in, temperature outside was -2.

Wunderbar zentrale Lage, gepflegte Zimmer.

Firmierung zur Rheinseite wäre beim ersten Besuch hilfreich und Seiteneingang, ab 22 Uhr zu benutzen, sollte etwas schöner und vor allem heller sein.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel! Problemloser Aufenthalt mit sehr nettem Personal. Zimmer waren ordentlich und sehr sauber.

Kleinere technische Mängel wie z.B. TV hat fast kein Programm problemlos angezeigt und ein Bettlicht hat nicht funktioniert, aber nicht der Rede wert...

Sicuramente la posizione strategica per la visita della città e per gli spostamenti poichè a 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale. La cortesia del personale ed in particolar modo del manager dell' hotel.

La prima camera assegnata che si affacciava sul fiume (come da me richiesto alla prenotazione) si trovava all' ultimo piano dello stabile, piccola, maleodorante, pulita approssimativamente, bagno micro...fortunatamente il giorno successivo ho chiesto di cambiare stanza e mi è stata assegnata dal lato opposto, meno caratteristico il panorama, ma la camera era più ampia (non il bagno) e al posto della moquette c' era il parquet, più pulita e profumata...ma in ogni caso le foto del sito non rispecchiano la situazione reale. Inoltre l' assenza di quasiasi richiamo al nome dell' hotel, se decidete di prenotare cercate di memorizzare l' aspetto dello stabile per riconoscerlo, vi si accede tramite il ristorante annesso a piano terra...mah !
