The lack of air conditioning was an initial concern, but with our high floor and the fact that the temperatures fell in the evening, we were more than comfortable sleeping with the windows and doors open. The hotel is a popular place for dining and drinking, and so the staff was usually very busy focused on that and hotel guests seemed to come second. There were often periods when no one was at the front desk. There always seemed to be more hotel guest cars than parking spaces.
We stayed in a junior suite and it was the best rooom of the four we stayed in during this trip. It was spacious, nicely arranged and had a balcony with a fantastic view. We arrived before our room was ready, and the staff was accommodating and creative in finding a solution to meet our needs. The room had a refridgerator, which we really liked. The staff was friendly.
