The staff were fantastic, really helpful and knowledgable.The location was great other than the noise from the railway station which was intrusive. The shower wasn't very powerful plus the shower curtain was too long and in the way.The hotel is tired and would benefit greatly from a refurb. If that was done then the hotel would be really great. |

Hotel is nicely situated within walking distance of the most important sites of Cologne The street in which the hotel is situated is quite noisy at night: shouting, drunken people, trains. We also thought that the ventilation systems were not very well: the breakfast buffet (ground floor) could be smelled on the top floor. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the Dom and shopping. The window of the room looked right onto the train station. It was very difficult to sleep with the noise of the trains and announcements. Ear plugs are a must! The bed was not very comfortable and the bed linen was old and had holes in it. |

Very good bargain, and perfect location next to the railway station and the cathedral. Personnel was very friendly, and hand-made tourist information in the room folder was both charming and very useful. Really, WiFi should not cost 12 Euro a night, but this seems to be a general problem with all German hotels. |

Clean Rooms and good breakfast. EUR 12.50 per for WIFI and TV remote problems. The remote didn't reponse properly when keys pressed. During checkout, i was told to pay EUR 12.00 for payTV for 2 min! The rep was difficult to understand! |
