Ristorante Rigoletto
Very well maintained restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere and sophisticated kitchen. On Friday and Saturday, the pizzas are baked with the wood-oven. The restaurant is located only 100 meters from the hotel and is closed on Mondays.

Brauerei Gasthaus Kraus
Rural Franconian cuisine. This is the only brewery of the village Hirschaid with the Franconian original Hilde Kraus. In the summer, you can enjoy their lovely beer garden. It is only a 15 minutes' walk from the hotel and is closed on Tuesdays.

Hotel Bruetting in Friesen
The hotel with probably the most traditional Franconian cuisine and the best prices in our region. Especially recommended are "Haxe" and "Schnitzel". Its location is 5 minutes away by car and is closed on Wednesdays.

El Toro
Located in the oldest half-timbered house of Hirschaid, El Toro serves very good and spicy Mexican food. Here you can enjoy the freshest ingredients. It is only a 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Area information

Ebrach and its monastery, about 30 kilometres away.
In 1655, the abbot introduced the grape vine “Silvanerrebe” and thus the basis of the Franconian wine. The highlight of the premises is the church with its rich décor.

Staffelstein, about 30 kilometres away.
Its triangle of monastery, basilica and the “Staffelberg” (mountain) is the main tourist attraction. Further, it offers beautiful thermal baths as well as steam baths and sauna.

Fränkische Schweiz (Franconian Switzerland), 35 kilometres away.
Places of interest here are the basilica and fortress “Größweinstein”, the toboggan run in Pottenstein, and caves such as the “Teufelshöhle”, “Binghöhle”, and “Sophienhöhle”.

Königsberg in Bavaria, 50 kilometres away.
You may stroll through the old town of Königsberg with its small alleys and half-timbered houses, which have lasted since the 30 Years War and take you back to medieval times.

Bayreuth, 70 kilometres away.
“The City of Richard Wagner” is also the city of festivals. Thus, you will also find the beautiful “Erimitage” park, the water garden and the New Castle with its mosaic façade.
