Dürer-Hotel  

Helpfulness of staff. Being able to buy day tickets for train. Located in Altstadt. Reasonable prices on mini-bar - most other hotels you just cannot afford to use something from mini-bar.

Only German TV channels. No clear web information as to best way to get to hotel and back from main train station. Taxi was expensive, I could have used u-bahn to Lorenzer station, but had no clear walking route to hotel (which was my main method during rest of stay). Walking in the Altstadt is interesting and good exercise.

Classic style hotel. Spacey and quiet rooms. Nice fitness. Location is inspiring.

Nothing in particular. For those who love modern style or boutique hotels this is not the one.

Location of the hotel was near the castle and calm. Breakfast was very good.

Due to sps iPC drives exhibition being on, the price was very high, but to be fair to the Duerer, this is pretty normal for this time of the year. WiFi was free for one hour, then charged. At the room price (>EURO200), I think WiFi is not too much to ask for.

I liked the location, the room and the breakfast. We had a good experience.

The breakfast is really great and the location is about as good as you can get in Nuremburg.

This is not a good hotel for business travellers. There is no free wifi-- 10 eur/120 minutes. The purported fitness was a sauna which was locked at 7pm. I give low marks for booking for allowing them to put that they had a fitness. My first room was smoke-filled. The hotel was last renovated most likely in the early 90s and rooms are really more like a pension which can be had for half the price. Given they have no other real amenities, there is not reason to pay more than 75 eur here, though most German visitors (99% of the guests) seemed happy. At first i thought it was a religious hotel, but it seems Albrecht Durer just has a striking resembelance to Jesus and is posed similarly in pictures around the hotel.

Hotel personel was very kind and helpful. Room size was more than good and facilities excellent.

We had a lovely big room opposite the city walls and everything was great for a 3 night stay. It was quiet at night given the location by the Tiergärtnertor (great for some al fresco drinks on a summer evening). It has a stylish lobby with a free internet terminal. The #4 tram stops a few metres away just beyond the medieval gate. The breakfast was the best we've ever had in Germany, with the buffet constantly being replenished. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone, and it's especially good value midweek.

Central position very close to the main places to visit (Castle , Durer house, city ancient walls, cathedral) Very good & various breakfast salt and sweet.Large room (with a small bathroom).Garage into the hotel

Very unhelpful staff.Very unpolite the rooms maids( probabily not german people).Automatic device for parking not immediatly useful without a little explanation (written, at least); I must wake in early morning to arrange my car parking and It wasn't pleasant....
