InterCityHotel Düsseldorf  

The location of the hotel is very good. As you walk out of the hotel, you can see the main train station, which makes the stay very convenient. The breakfast of the hotel was very nice, including some dishes that could be prepared from the kitchen on unlimited quantity basis, like pancakes, waffles, special omlettes.

It was too pricey for the its worth. Probably because of the fair being held at the exhibition center. Due to my late night arrival, I was not greeted very well by the man at the reception who looked rather displeased. The room that he gave me was on the ground floor, overlooking an inside courtyard with very little privacy, as the people in the next door restaurant could see me well through the glass windows. Moreover, it was too cold without any heating facilities. When I asked for a room change, the man at the reception replied very rudely in negative. It pinched me to get such a reaction after paying eur 215 per night. I was handed out breakfast coupons during checkin which were to be used in the morning at the restaurant. Later I found out that despite those coupons, my breakfast was chargeable at eur 19 per person.

Proximity to transport and location is good. Clean, effecient staff at front desk who were helpful and supportive

Cleanliness, walking distance to city centre (15min.), helpful staff, free tickets for the Dusseldorf public transport, cheap and safe parking facilities. All in all, it was good value for money.

Lack of free Wifi

Was quiet and close to station

The Hotel is approximately a 3 to 5 minute walk from the Central Station. It is very close to Aldstadt (Old Town), either a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute tram ride. Hotel staff understood English and were friendly and willing to help out.

The internet was not free. However, even if you paid for internet, the connection was slow and often times timed out. It was 5eur for 30 minutes, 10eur for 120min and 14eur for 24 hours.

From reception we got travel tickets for all our stay in Dusseldorf. There is tram staion in front of the hotel, 5 minutes away the main railwaystation and metro, with out travel tickets we used tram and metro for free )

Van niets, de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding was uitermate slecht.

Het ontbijt was standaard. Het hotel en de kamer waren helemaal niet sfeervol.

Хороший отель, но на хорошие 3 звезды, а не 4. Очень удобно добираться пешком до вокзала, также до центра пешком минут 15.

в номере нет сейфа, также в номере достаточно прохладно, приходилось оставлять карточку и вкюченный на обогрев кондиционер.

Mooie kamer,uitstekend ontbijt,goede ligging in het centrum,en vrij reizen met openbaar vervoer.

Wel wat last gehad van voorbij rijdende trams snachts

makkelijk te bereiken en goede parkeermogelijkheid in de buurt.

ik vond de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding scheef. de prijs was te hoog.

Personeel aan de receptie was erg vriendelijk
