Perfect location and rich tasty breakfast. Clean pleasant room. Room was a little bit noisy about the street under windows.

The room and bathroom were clean and nice, transport card is a great plus. Kaufhof is 3' away from the hotel. And a nice doner kebab just next to the hotel. We got two beds instead of one king size bed. The beds were always slipping away from each other))) it was fun at the beginning, but in the end me and my husband gave up and slept separately)))

We took this bed as a couple but the bed was horrible, 2 single beds connected together but they had wheels so was very bad for a couple, I kept falling in between the beds every time I wanted to move to the other bed if you know what I mean. Very uncomfortable situation for a a couple. The hotel (according the Staff) has only 2 beds that good for a couples.

Reception was excellent with staff speaking good English. Our room was also excellent, clean, spacious, with all facilities you could want. Breakfast was at a very sensible time with good choice of food. The use of room card on local transport is a superb facility.

The friendliness & helpfulness of all the staff. As a disabled person this was very reassuring. The hotel is close to the main railway station with regular public transport in many directions. It is within easy reach of the Rhine & some wonderful scenery. We were disappointed with the lack of rooms with shower cubicles & double mattresses

Spotless clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, check-out till 16 (Comfort room), lot of international TV channels; excellent location out of dated (but still OK); breakfast could be more reach; poor minibar.

Good value: Clean rooms. Friendly personnel. Location within easy reach of the Altstadt etc. Easy parking: a big parking garage is about 150 meters away, costs €15 for 24 hours. The hotel offers free use of the public transport in Duesseldorf. This is very easy as several tram lines pass in front of the hotel.

It's location. The hallway was quite depressing, as well as some minor things in the room. We had booked for a double room with 1 bed, however we had gotten 2 beds which had rolls underneath, so that if one person moved or wanted to sleep in the middle, both beds rolled apart. Quite uncomfortable, especially when you are a couple.

Nice quiet room at the back - front rooms were very noisy. Clean and practical - confortable but not fussy. Fabulous breakfast. Very good position and staff helpful and friendly. Rooms on the road far too noisy - would never be able to leave window open

Not far from the station and the 'S'baun The restaurant next door is great if you travel alone Near the shops and stores Has the tram lines outside They have the Herald Tribune each morning for me to read!!! Bit more than I usually pay

Absolutely nothing< good thing I only had to spend one night there. Mind you breakfast was surprisingly at a different level to the rest of my experience. Very old, does not deserve to be on the Best Western list of Hotels. Pathetic shower, no shower curtain. The lock up safe is from Noah's Arc

“The staff were excellent and genounly nice ( all except for one :-p) they were very helpful to provide me with places to go, which train to take and so forth. The rooms were big and very spacesious. It is just an opposite of a Japanese bakery which sereves the most delicious pastries . Good if you opt not to have the breakfast in the hotel. Also, it is near Japanese grocery stores and DVD and book stores. The main station just minutes away. Kofhof, Altsad, and C&A are less than 5 minutes away. really for the price we paid I braced myself for a nightmare but it turned out to be a dream.” Latefa, Al-wakra |
