Hotel Commodore

The hotel room was ready even though I arrived early. The TV channels included two English speaking channels.

The hallway floors were noisy. The TV was small. The wlan was slow. The bathroom had seen it's best days. No wending machine or such to by a soda.

it was very noicy during night when other guests came back from their evening/night out and did not have courtecy to be quiet ie. loud talking on the halfway but as walls are quite thin other guests including me woke up.

Close to the underground.

I could not even stand up in the minute attic room and when moved to a basic room which had enough room but no extra facilities had to pay an extra 20 euros per night. Absolute disgrace as I booked an offer with yourselves in a 3 star hotel. The attitude of the hotel was go find somewhere else if you dont want to stay or pay.

The room was very small. Actually, the room was almost the size of the bathroom (ok, the bathroom was quite large, but the room was really small). The furnitures were inadequate and there was no headboard.

The staff is o.k. Good location.

Very poor hotel. The rooms are very very small. Old facilities. They only do room make up not changing nothing. No aircon and sometimes too hot.At night you have to sleep with closed windows cause the hotel is on big street with havy trafick even at early morning. Also check-in is after 15:00 and check out till 10:30

Location (next to the famoust Repperbahn), the parking possibility which was free of charge, convenient for short visit to Hamburg.

The breakfast was good. The room was very big.

The constant odor of cigars outside and inside the room. The bathroom had no curtins in the window and the lights were automatic, so at night you could be seen inside the bathroom. The bathroom was big but even so, the shower was small and had a plastic curtin that would toutch your body.

Good location .

Limited parking space.

Friendly staff, great central location, beside U-bahn. I read bad reports about this hotel before I stayed so I was surprised to find the hotel was nice. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. They also have a mini fridge, no tea\coffee making facilities.

The room should have tea\foffee making facilities for tea addicts like me!

The location is perfect to enjoy a weekend of Hamburg, close to bars, shops, a park and the dock side (the well known fish market)

Very poor wi-fi access. No chair in the room to sit at the desk. No printed information in the room about hotel or local facilities. No hotel document to leave any opinions on the hotel. No restaurant for evening meals, although there are plenty of places to eat within a 10 minutes walk.

Everything was excellent at the hotel. I don't know why it doesn't have better reviews. We had free parking and free internet. It is located in St Pauli so for anyone wanting to see the nightlife it was an excellent location but it was still close to town and still in a quite area.
