hotel commodore is the ideal place if you want the hamburg night life,on the weekend its great.Hotel commodore is only 5 mins walk away from the reeperbaun. |

Close to the underground. I could not even stand up in the minute attic room and when moved to a basic room which had enough room but no extra facilities had to pay an extra 20 euros per night. Absolute disgrace as I booked an offer with yourselves in a 3 star hotel. The attitude of the hotel was go find somewhere else if you dont want to stay or pay. |

The room was very small. Actually, the room was almost the size of the bathroom (ok, the bathroom was quite large, but the room was really small). The furnitures were inadequate and there was no headboard. |

Clean hotel with all the facilities we needed. It's situated in St Pauli, which can be a not recommended place to stay. Fortunately it's a little bit apart from the center of it, but anyway it was scary to go to the hote at night. We had no problemas with that, but if you travel with child I would not recommend to stay in this zone. |

The staff is o.k. Good location. Very poor hotel. The rooms are very very small. Old facilities. They only do room make up not changing nothing. No aircon and sometimes too hot.At night you have to sleep with closed windows cause the hotel is on big street with havy trafick even at early morning. Also check-in is after 15:00 and check out till 10:30 |

The breakfast was good. The room was very big. The constant odor of cigars outside and inside the room. The bathroom had no curtins in the window and the lights were automatic, so at night you could be seen inside the bathroom. The bathroom was big but even so, the shower was small and had a plastic curtin that would toutch your body. |

Big room, clean even if not super modern, and friendly staff. Not the best zone of the Town, but not even that bad :), 20 minutes at least walking distance to turistic places. Duvet "nordic style" on the bed, perfectly useless and uncomfortable during summer - very warm with no alternatives. |

Friendly staff, great central location, beside U-bahn. I read bad reports about this hotel before I stayed so I was surprised to find the hotel was nice. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. They also have a mini fridge, no tea\coffee making facilities. The room should have tea\foffee making facilities for tea addicts like me! |

Clean room, comfortable beds, nice lobby decoration. Even though they offer free wi-fi connection, I was not able to connect and no one in the hotel was able to help me with that. |

Very poor wi-fi access. No chair in the room to sit at the desk. No printed information in the room about hotel or local facilities. No hotel document to leave any opinions on the hotel. No restaurant for evening meals, although there are plenty of places to eat within a 10 minutes walk. |

Everything was excellent at the hotel. I don't know why it doesn't have better reviews. We had free parking and free internet. It is located in St Pauli so for anyone wanting to see the nightlife it was an excellent location but it was still close to town and still in a quite area. |

Breakfast is lovely. Including smoked salmon, lots of cereals, sausage & eggs (boiled and scrambled), a selection of cheeses including buffallo mozarella, goat's cheese and a couple of pastries. The location is excellent. The hotel is right across the road from St Pauli's Fußball stadium. The port as well as the Reeperbahn can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. The rooms lack a little extra attention. Small repairs were needed in both rooms that we stayed in (after sleeping at the road side of the hotel, I asked the receptionist to offer me another room in the back side of the building, which did not pose a problem). For expample the power outlet to which the TV was connected was a little loose in the wall. |

Good location, but gets a bit noisy as it is located across the stadium. Within walking distance of public transportaiton, shops, food, harbor, sightseeing, etc. Breakfast was good. The free internet service in the public area was horrible. It would go out every 3-5 minutes or so. |

Very covenient for the Reeperbahn and the docks area.My only reason for not quoting higher on 'value for money' reflects on the present exchange rates - I guess that this was a good value hotel |
