room a bit tired, and not that clean. Stains on headboard and carpet

Clean, friendly, courteous. Good position, although needs a change on the railway from the airport. Right in front of St Pauli football ground.

If you like to look at nice buildings this probably isn't the area for you.

Nice Christmas decorations in the lobby, room was comfortable and the hotel is located well for the Hamburger Dom and St Pauli. The staff were relaxed and helpful.

The shower was so small and was hard to get in and out of.

They were doing some kind of remodeling at the first floor, all week long starting at seven, as loud as possible :(

Terrible parking situation

It is close to the center of Hamburg.

The noise: the lunapark and the football stadium just across the street. The facilities: - poor and used and ugly. Actually clean, but don't feel like clean if you know what I mean (E.G. the cleaning detergents they're using smell really bad). Internet: offered as free wifi internet in the rooms. It is everwhere, in the rooms, the lobby, etc., but it's like it wasn't existing. It's simply not working properly. And it requires a contract: you sign a paper that the hotel may use your data and then you get an acces code that works on only 1 device and is acces to nothing. The broadband of the early '90's or worse. Receptionist: almost charged me twice, and not because he was trying to cheat on me. He was simply lame with his computer, and didn't understand or speak English very well. Oh, and the blue lights of the facade... Who on Earth was thinking that would look good? It's awful.

They had a smoking room and on numerous occasions the door was left open the smell wafted down to reception area making siting unpleasant and your clothes stink,

There are many kind persons including receiption desk. and location of city was perfectly position.

I think the holse has long history and old fasion building. Not much good and not much bad. and so narrow space compare with price.

The location suited my needs

Hotel staff completely unhelpful with the exception of the night porter . There was no bar and drinks had to be ordered from the front desk . I had to email my return flight details to the hotel where they eventually did print it for me . My single room was tiny .

The location was excellent. We could walk to the harbour. There really is no concierge. The breakfast room was very good.

We were told there was parking but it was limited. We were lucky to get a spot. The hotel was tired. We did not find the air conditioning, When we opened the windows, the bugs flew in.

The hotels location was perfect for us. Just ten minutes walk to the centre, English speaking helpful staff and a small car park to the side of the hotel.

The hotel entrance and reception was enormous and we thought it may be too posh for us? but the so called family room in the roof was tiny!! two of us stayed in the room. The shower/bathroom was only big enough for a teenager. No slightly large person would fit through the shower door! and the loo was slotted into a little corner. It was okay for a stopover place but i wouldn't like to spend a week in there. Apart from this, other aspects of the hotel seemed fine. Recommended for short stay only

Room was clean. Location was good. Easy to catch the trains to the local night spots.

Didn't have hot water on two mornings. Staff told me this was because there was a city-wide problem (!?). No apologies. No offer of a discount. No suggestions on where I could get a hot shower. Disappointing.
