The staying was awfull! The bathroom was opposite to the room, the lift didn't work, wi-fi didn't work, the stuff was not friendly. It was impossible to pay with cards only cash. First we booked it for 7 days and then likely changed it for another hotel. We stayed there only one night, it is sutuated near to S-Bahn station to go to the airport.

Great combination of price and quality. Neighborhood is fairly close to the train station and city center. Stuff is very friendly and the breakfast option is very good and useful. The neighborhood might be not the best choice. Bathroom might be across the hall.

Shopping street is just 10-15mins walk. Besides train station, there is also s tram rail, too. Breakfast has a few kind of cheese, ham and yogurt with jam and cereal, bread. Enough for the morning. Near the hotel, Asian restaurant, supermarket, Internet cafe (1euro for 60mins) No wifi. Only Hot spot at the entrance but mine did not work. There is internet cafe close to the hotel for 1euro/ 60mins. One of the hotel staff didn't speak English when I arrived in the evening. But another younger staff in the morning does speak.

Excellent value!(28 Euros single room). Clean, very comfortable bed, well decorated, helpful staff, good breakfast etc. For the price 10 out of 10. I always try to stay at the Europa when I visit Dusseldorf - I have tried other 'budget' hotels, but the Europa is best. The lift is still not working - so staying at the Europa is very healthy and keeps you fit!

good value for money, close to city centre it is a very dated hotel, the bathroom therefore seemed quite dirty and smelly, there was feaces left in the toilet when we arrived so it smelled really bad. The bed was clean and it was an ok hotel for one night in between flights. We left the key at reception when we went out in the evening and we know someone was in our bedroom in our absence as they turned the lights off when I left it on on purpose, so be careful not to leave anything valuable there. The lift was broken so we had to carry three suitcases to the top florr-not great.

Not a bad option for the low price. Rooms are very basic, nothing fancy but nevertheless they were clean and everything was working. The hotel is in a quiet area although a bit far to walk from the city center. The breakfast is pretty poor, you can make a basic sandwich but the coffee is disgusting, just had some tea instead. One of the receptionists didn't speak any English, so he couldn't really answer any questions although he tried. The shower in my room wasn't fixed very well so I had to hold it while showering. Finally, the hotel is a good 25 to 30 minute walk from the city center. But these are minor bugs you can survive if you're looking to save money and if you're not too picky. Still, if you have other options I'd recommend looking for something else.

Frankly speakiing, I liked everything - good and kind stuff, clean room, permitted smoking. For some people it can turn out to be uncomfortable that the lift is not on the first floor - but for me it was ok, because I did not have huge baggage. Some tuorists tell that the rooms are not so clean and that something else is wrong - but I think if you stay in the not expensive hotel you should not expect golden statues in the bathroom) you understand what I mean)

It's nice and availible hotel! For not big price you can get fine room with breakfest, nice staff and just 15 minutes to go by step to city center. So, if you wanna safe money, have budget trip with good service you should stay here!)

The location is great. About 15mins walk from the main train station. The staff are nice and speak perfect English. The breakfast is really value for money. The room is nice considering the price. We eventually stayed 2 extra nights because of the good location and reasonable price. The lift isn't working and we had to walk upstairs to the third floor which is very tiring. The toilet smells like a free public toilet in Mumbai.

Not bad location ideal for the price. The facilities and room size were good. Worst thing is you cannot use your credit card for the payment. We went to atm 1km away to withdraw money, which caused us late for catching next trains. The attitude of staff was very bad.

Eng: First off I'd say the best things are the possibility to do the check- in 24h and breakfast buffet. For someone that arrives late at night it's very useful. We arrived around midnight and it's nice to find a friendly face. Breakfast is well within human needs. You can eat a days worth meal and everything is good :) I read in other opinions that here they did not speak english. That is very incorrect!.. Though it wouldn't hurt the traveler to learn, for their sake, basic german before exploring the city. It is really close to the main station. I'd say about 10-15 min by foot. Or you can get the 725 bus that passes on the parallel street Helmholtzstraße near the Pfarrei St. Antonius Paul L. Spies Pfarrer ita: - Check-in 24h - Colazione a buffet (completo e buono) - Buona conoscenze dell'inglese (anche se non guasterebbe conoscere un minimo di tedesco) - A 10-15 minuti dalla stazione centrale a piedi. I don't know if we did it wrong nor would I say it's a negative feature because you can go directly to the reception and ask for anything you need. The first day we got out late and met the cleaning employee in the hall. We asked if we needed to leave the door open and leave and the employee showed us she had the key to then close. The second day we got up ealier. We didn't leave the door open of course and assumed someone would pass by. When we came back the room was how we left it. We didn't actually care then and there, the room was spotless when we arrived so it was in perfect shape. The thought went to the future.. What if we were to stay more than a few days? Of course we would have asked directly but, as said, in two days the room was still in perfect conditions. A suggestion would be to put the "Do Not Disturb" hangers for every room so that the employee knows in which room she can enter or not.
