noisy main street outside from 6am
Location which was not far from the train
Size of the room Size of the bathroom The pictures at the website, of course do not reflect reality
Great value for money, clean large hotel room with easy fuss free access.
The WiFi was not strong enough to work in my room.
room is small
That I found a room at all during SMM trade fair in Hamburg. The location on top of Reeperbahn was excellent and parking was easy in a public garage right opposite the hotel. The room was ok, decent. The plumming was not and there were no facilities at all.
Price was almost trippled compared when there is not a big trade fair going on. Breakfast was poor. Everything quite worn down and old. At standard rate I would say its a good choice for sleeping.
The room was very basic and dated and grubby, what more can I say? just the truth. I would not stay again at this Hotel.
Location, Quiet, Simple, Smoker room
It is what it is. A room, a bed, an ashtray. It is not an hotel to take your new wife on honeymoon.
Quiet hotel in the centre
Breakfast could improve
If you want to visit the reeperbahn perfect place, so nothing wrong with the Hotel considering you know what to expect here
room facing the side street so not much noise. breakfast included. staff helpful.
very basic and overpriced
I didn't think these kind of hotels in old European style still existed. I stayed at a lot of these kind of hotels in the last millennium, but hadn't been to one more than a decade. Fun, but I couldn't help feeling that in 2014 a hotel should look/feel differently!
Old style hotel that needs a major renovation. Not that the hotel was bad or dirty, but just VERY outdated in style (furnitures, colours, etc.). The room was quite small (though that wasn't a real problem for me).
convienence to reeperbahn and the U3
n0 air conditioning
I Liked getting away from this horrible hotel with no hospitality. Glad there was a lounge since the single rooms are very small
STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. It doesn´t meet the standards stated. And is NOT a home away from home. Not at all newly decorated and modern. But completely worn out. Inside and out. SingleRoom 407 had severe fungus behind the curtains.Had to stay for 2 nights, before the problem was dealt with and I was mowed to singleroom 301.The hotel was fully booked, so somebody was given the fungusroom after me. I was paying for a 14m2 nonsmoking room, but the room was only 10m2 INCL.bath. It smelled of cigarette smoke and wasn´t soundproffed as told. The tiny tv was under the ceiling, so impossible to use. The sink was in the room not in the bathroom. There wasn´t a single plug for hairdryer og toothbrush. Just a simple cord of questionable quality. The carpet has cigaretburns and the table and chair looked as taken from the garden. There was a tiny built en cupboard, where the paint was coming of. When asking for a deduction on aparting I was paying 603 EU and was only given a 10Eu reduction. A few days before leaving I told at the desk that i wanted a reduction. She told me to say it at departure. The boss would be there. The boss wasn´t there as promissed. Though the state that dogs are for free, they discriminate people with dogs by saying that the reduction can´t be any more, because of the trouble with cleaning from the dog. In that way they find a way of 1. making you pay for the dog. 2. Loose your right to complain. My dog is a little dog that even had his own blanket from home and I cleaned after him.
Fantastic hotel, great location and helpful staff. Breakfast was good, lots of choices and the room itself was large and airy. Great value for money hotel!
Not that it worried as at all, but there is some noise from the street late at night, just to be wary of that if you are after peace and quite. .
One block from U3 St. Pauli Subway Station. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable rooms and bed.
Stand-up shower a bit on the small side.
not good very old hotel and cost a lot of money
Nice location. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Location breakfast and wifi
Noisy early hours of morning as right on the Reeperbahn but should of taken as red, as it is the major night spot in Hamburg
Good to see an hotel concentrating on doing the simple things right - good communication, clean, well-looked after. Location was spot on, being 10 minutes walk from the Millerntor Stadium and within easy reach of all the great bars etc in St Pauli and Schanzenviertel.
A little bit noisy - but that's to be expected being situated on the Reeperbahn.
Location - close to St Pauli, Karolineviertel and Schanzenviertel. Fine breakfast, generally basic but good.
Good location. Friendly staff.
Smoking in lounge area
Resealable price for place and service. Staff polite.
Smell of cigarettes, dirty pavement in front of the hotel
The location was perfect
Excellent location, very helpful staff who were polite and went the extra mile to help. Plentyful breakfast clean rooms and comfortable.
No drink making facilities in rooms, breakfast room crowded at peak times. Having to go home
