What I really liked about Airport Hotel Karsten was its superb organization, very well provided information, kindness, politeness, willingness and so, good and flexible co-operation of attentive staff as well as their excellent command of English. On top of that, very tasty breakfast. On the whole, full understanding of traveller's needs. I could not find any English speaking channels on TV. |

Very comfortable and spotless, Very friendly staff who get the balance of service right, and truly enjoy what they do. Breakfasts that are delicious and substantial, We were made to feel truly welcome on arrival and every morning we stayed, or when we returned from a day out. |

Friendly and helpful staff, near to the airport, the hotel provides shuttle service from-to the airport at any time. Good location, there are shops and many restaurant not far from the hotel. This is a very cosy hotel with well-equiped rooms, existing a kitchen spase is an advantage. It's the best choice if one needs to be close to the airport. Absence of lift in combination with steep footsteps may be a problem for handicaped and aged people. |

This is a wonderful family owned enterprise, convenient and practical if you need to stay close to the Koln airport. Free shuttle service by a member of the family is available at all hours. The garden is lovely and the breakfast is better than most larger hotels. It's quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it's cheap! What more could you ask for a business hotel. There are not many restaurants in the neighborhood open for lunch, but Roma Antiqua filled the bill. |

I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. The room was very clean and had a little kitchen. I can definitely recommend this hotel! |

We arrived after the front desk was closed, but much too our surprise a staff member opened the door for us on a rainy night. We didn't have to fumble for the code to open the door and helped us take our luggage up the stairs. The breakfast served the next day was good, the staff were friendly. |

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble and they helped us with taxis to and from the city in the evening. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast excellent. The ensuite had a shower curtain rather than an enclosure. I do not think this is appropriate for a hotel of this class. |

Very nice staff, nice breakfast, free and fast wireless internet. Hotel is located in a very quiet residential area, really not far from the airport. The room was smelling a bit of smoke, it would have needed some fresh air. |

Comfortable, very friendly and genuine, even if I left to the airport before the breakfast they even provided me a plate with sandwiches in the minibar to eat before the free airport shuttle. |

Airport Hotel Karsten is a very nice hotel conveniently located near Cologne airport. Very friendly and helpful personnel and owners. The rooms are clean and tidy, good breakfast is available from 6:00 on. I always stay there if I have to fly off early from Cologne airport. I would definitely recommend it. |

Amazing hospitality and service !!! I was taken form and to (05:30AM) the Airport withot waiting. Breafast wes served on 05:15. Free WLAN. Bad was little hard. |

I am a frequent traveller to Europe especially to Germany and found Hotel Karsten one of the best to stay near the Cologne Airport. Hotel staff and particularly Mr. Frieben (Owner) were amazing in terms of giving very personal service. I found it like sitting in my home, excellent in terms of everything. I would definitely stay again as a loyal guest! |

Delightful family run hotel. Phone call when I arrived @ airport and I was collected very quickly. Their english is excellent. Better breakfast than I've seen in other places that cost a lot more. |
