The hotel location is excellent, very close to the station. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is ok.

Advertised Wi-Fi in the hotel and that was the reason I selected this hotel. It was a business trip and internet is vital for me. Did not get to use the internet on any day of my 4 days long business trip. When inquired with the staff, there attitude was take it or lump it, very rude. Bed was very small and uncomfortable. Would not be staying here the next time. Better to pay some extra money and look for a higher rating hotel.

Very nice location and very easy to find. The room was small but very compact. The hotel provides reach breakfast.

The wi-fi in the room is at extra charge and it is very slow.

This is my second stay for more than an 8 day durration. The staff is always very friendly and helpful in both German and English language! The Breakfast is traditional and good, the rooms cleaned daily and the location is "Wunderbar"!!! Thank you again, Henry Husemann!

I got to the hotel after midnight. It was very cold out. The guy at the reception asked me to pay and I gave him my credit card. For some reason, both of my cards didn’t went throw also I used one of them 30 min before at the car rental. I offered to pay with USD but the guy refused and almost kicked me out. He was demanding that I shell pay with euros only. He didn’t care that it was middle of the nightandI there was no way I could change dollars to euros and he refused to accept dollars as guaranty until morning than I will change them to euro. Such a rude attitude I never got.

The location is a 2 min walk from the main station, which comes in handy when traveling by train.

I had booked a non-smoking room. Upon arrival they tried to accommodate me in a tiny smoking room. The smell was horrible. When asking for another room, I was asked, if the smell was "just a little" or "really bad". Upon my insistence I was then given a non smoking room. Excuse me? I didn't expect luxury accommodation but this hotel hasn't been renovated or redecorated notably for 20+ years. The walls seem to be paper thin, so you might hear a lot of noise from other rooms (shouting, tv etc.) all times of the day. Internet costs 9.99 eur per 24 hours. The whole building is structured in a way that would make an escape in a fire rather difficult, feels like a labyrinth). A lot of small stairs, up and down. The lift was so small, 1 single person with suitcases will barely fit in. When I used the lift it didn't inspire a lot of confidence (on the second day it was out of order, no surprise to me). Even for a budget hotel and the price 6 eur) the breakfast was substandard and boring. You get what you pay for - and in sometimes even less. One evening of the 4 towels provided one hadn't been replaced and the other 3 removed. When I mentioned to the receptionist, that there were towels missing, I once again faced unwillingness to help "... Are there really no towels left at all?...". Overall, staff behavior is in line with the overall standard of the hotel. Probably very demotivating, to work in this environment. Don't get me wrong. You can not expect a luxury hotel for this price in such a central location. But even if considering this fact, it was a very disappointing experience.

Location and proximity to the railway station, cathedral and Ludwig Museum.

The walk from reception to our room...past the kitchen of the neighbouring Chinese restaurant. The lack of facilities. The permanently closed hotel bar. The strong smell of cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room.

It's located in the city, 3 mins walk from train station, and the room and spacy and cozy. very clean and with water boiler!

There was a lot of noise from other rooms during the night. I think the sound proofing need to be improved.

Staff were very helpful, loved Amsterdam, everything is quite walkable from the hotel. We booked a small double room and it was very small but still clean and comfortable enough. Buffet breakfast included in room rate was very good.

Nothing. NB The stairs are very steep but we found that was normal in Amsterdam, just need to be careful. There's an elevator anyway.

The Wifi is only free for 30 Min per day.... It's inconvenient.

Friendly staff

We travel with a baby from different countries and arrive early at the hotel. One week before we arrived we call the hotel for a early check in with extra cost. This was not a problem but we arrive we couldnt have the promissed early checkin .the room was not totally clean. Dust on the headboard off the bed, by the windows. The rest was good. We will come back.

The room where we stayed in was enough for us 2 persons with just 1 small bag or other wise the room will be too small.
