This is the first hotel I have been to where the room had vooden floor and not carpet, lovely. Anyways the hotel has a privat parking in the basement and for 10 euros you do not have to spend the rest of the day looking for a parking spot. You also get a free travelpass for as long as you stay there. We always travel with our dog and the staff here was very dogfriendly. There is also a very nice and huge park close by. We arrived very hungry and had the best Lasagne (ever) in a newly opened Italian restaurant named "Giotto", opposite side 5 min to walk to the left when leaving the hotel. We had some problems locating the hotel. This was google.maps fault not the hotels. The instructions were wrong or so unclear that we and our car ended up totally lost. Thanks to friendly locals we managed to find it easily when putting away google.map instructions.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful, rooms were of a good size clean and comfortable. Breakfast had an excellent selection and was constantly replenished by the attentive staff. The hotel is in an excellent position on the airport bus route and minutes walk from the tram into Dusseldorf old town and the exhibition centre.The hotel issues free public transport tickets for the length of your stay too. Fantastic Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Will stay here again when next in Dusseldorf.

The room was clean and a reasonable size - looks like all the plumbing had been re-furbed fairly recently - at least it all worked ok. A few good bars in the locale No air conditioning - room was echo-y - bed was home-made and not very comfortable - curtains too thin so let the light in from 5.00am. WiFi a bit flaky. A bit too far out of town. Way too expensive (prices increased significantly during a a big exhibition).

The wireless internet did not work at all during my 2 day stay - this was a major complaint. Not value for money at 200Euro per night - bar was never manned either.
