great location and staff.will stay there again.

Everything was great, I would book with econtel on my next trip to Berlin ;-)

The only thing I did not like was that there were repairing something early in the morning on saturday morning...and as I like to sleep long it was a bit bad, but I understand that maybe it was just that time, the rest was great!

Airport proximity

The hotel is situated in a nice quiet district, beautyful Charlottengurg palace and park are in 10 min walking. We asked a room wtih a window to the inner court, so no street noise was heard. Clean room, new furniture, very good value for money (instead of a standart room, we received comfort). Not very close to the city center but the U-bahn station is in 3 min walking. Cheap bikes rental, 20-30 min on bike to Brandengurger Tor. Big supermarkret in the same building.

No refrigerator to cool beer((

it was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. also it was quiet, surprisingly so as a group of school children booked in before us!

Don't be put off by the look of the hotel from the outside - for a first time visitor to Berlin it was in fact totally inkeeping with modern Berlin

The staff is very kind and helpful and the location is good. It is far from the main historic points, but it is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood. There is a bus stop and a subway station near to the hotel that will take you to every where you need. The break fast is excellent!

We did ask for early check-in as we were at the hotel at 12:30 P.M.; they did not manage to do this but they offered us a free upgrade to the comfort room instead of standard twin room that we ourselves had reserved. The x9 express bus from one of the main public transport areas in Berlin (named Zoologischer Garten) to Tegel Airport and vice versa, has a stop just in front of the hotel. When we wished to go around Berlin, we should just take a 5-minute ride on x9. Also, the underground u7 Mierendorff Platz station, is 100-150 meters away from hotel. If we wanted to shop anything we needed, we were able to go 10 meters outside the hotel entrance to enter one of the rewe chain stores (one of the largest chain stores in Germany); there we found everything needed for our stay. Hotel serves free tea and coffee from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.; something we found it interesting. There was a construction near Econtel during our stay (and after that we think); but thanks to the sound- proofed and double-layered windows, we did not notice much bothering. It was a very busy hotel and the staff were all working to manage the requests conveniently.

We stayed on the 4th floor and the wireless hot-spot went out of order for 2 days (Saturday and Sunday); but we had to wait till Monday in order to the problem to be fixed. The breakfast was very expensive; it was not included in our room price, but we wanted to try it for once and the price was so depressing.

Goede voorzieningen

Ik kreeg een gekleurde MickyMousekamer meer voor een gezin met kinderen. Er werd gedacht dat we met 4 personen kwamen terwijl ik een reservering gedaan heb van twee eenspersoonskamers.

Super hôtel ! Très bien situé ! Arrêt de bus et métro à quelques mètres seulement. Très large choix pour le petit-déjeuner . Très bon séjour.

удобно расположен.от аэропорта автобус х9.ехать 3 остановки.были всего одну ночь.все понравилось.рядом метро.

Hotel situato in ottima posizione 5 min dall'aeroporto txl e 1min a piedi dalla fermata della metro. Noi eravamo un gruppo di 12 persone e ci siamo trovati alla grande. Hotel pulito e confortevole. Consigliato.

Absolut empfehlenswert die Freundlichkeit der Empfangsmitarbeiter!!! Die Lage vom Hotel ist top, da sehr gute Busanbindung. Nach 2 Stationen ist man am Bahnhof Zoo. Wir werden nächstes Jahr jedesfalls für ein paar Tage länger nochmals nach Berlin fahren und auch wieder ins Econtel gehen

Fijn hotel, ruime comfortabele kamers. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Het hotel is uitstekend per openbaar vervoer te bereiken. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Wij hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad en komen zeker nog eens terug!

De bedden zijn uitstekend, maar de kussens wat slap (extra kussens zijn geen probleem). Bovendien was het erg jammer dat er 2 éénpersoons dekbedden op het bed lagen in plaats van één tweepersoons dekbed...
