This was the best hotel of our recent trip to Germany! The room was charming, furnished in beautiful antiques from the owners personal collection. Brigitte and Hans made us feel as if we were their most special guests. I have been to Germany many times, but had not been to Garmisch. We had an incredible experience, thanks to our stay at Hotel Edelweiss. |

Our room was awesome. We had a big balcony and beautiful views of Zugspitze and the mountains. Very quiet at night, we kept some windows open so we could fall asleep to the gurgling river behind the hotel. We had a big room and comfy bed and felt like we got a good deal for the money. Good breakfast, lots of food and good selection. Free Wifi was wonderful. And free parking right on the street outside. Very good expericence! There was no soap in the bathroom. How hard is it to throw a bar of soap on the sink and call it a day? Also, it would have been nice if the lady at the front desk spoke better english and was able to give us information in english. But she was nice, I should just learn German really, we were in Germany. They didn't have any brochures, info of the area, etc. in english, that would have been nice. |

absolute wonderful inn...beautifully decorated, large room, gorgeous view of Alps from room, impeccable service, wonderful breakfast included...will definitely return to this wonderful inn! You won't be disappointed! |

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been pleased. The location is close to the downtown walking and shopping districts. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are always clean. Nothing.....would highly recommend to anyone looking for a value accommodation while visiting Garmisch. |

in general it's good .. their staff are friendly and helpful , the design is classic you feel your self in the middle centuries . tasty breakfast , I think it was very nice night I lived in Garmish in this Hotel |

We liked everything about our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellant and the staff was warm and charming. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and will return again. When requesting a room, ask for one on the garden side of the hotel |

We liked this place very much. I can't criticize any point, everything was wonderful starting from mountain view and finishing with breakfasts. The room was very spacious and comfortable, however a bit dark due to the small windows to the North. However, it's not a problem since the there's lots of thing to do in Garmisch during daytime instead of sitting in the room ))) |

The cleanliness and comfort of the room and the hotel were great and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, which were included in the price, were outstanding. The water pressure from the shower was very light, but this was an insignificant issue overall. |

Breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The host of the Hotel was also very friendly and warm. The pool was very tiny - like a rehabilitation tank. I wonder what it is used for. Not useful as a recreation pool. |

Especially good service in the hotel, they have good attitude for the customers. Nice and peaceful location, and about 10 minutes walk from the city. Mountain view from the private backyard. Good choice! |
