Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Decor was fun
The staff were very helpful and we liked the various art pieces dotted about the place. The location was excellent for visiting the Christmas markets & the hotel e-mailed directions before our trip which was very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious!
This is not a fancy hotel but for people looking for excellent value for money this it it. It is a new refurbished hotel with a wide selection for your breakfast! I only stayed over night and I booked a single room. It is a small room with single bed only but it has a flatscreen tv with loads of channels, iPod dock (not for iPhone 5 onwards) and the bathroom size was great! I really enjoye the big shower and just the modern bathroom in general!
When I arrived I urgently had to use the Internet but the free wifi didn't work. It may be it happened Over that night only but also in the lobby the internet didn't run. However the great reception night staff tried everything to assist me in this matter.I would have liked an ironing board and iron in my room and couldn't find one.
We asked the staff on our departure day to print our train tickets- they were helpful.
Baggage drop off was poorly organised when very busy and there was no lift on the way to our room in the second level.
The beds were comfortable, location is not far from the main train station and is also walkable to marienplatz. There is a machine that cleans boots. Nothing to complain. Highly recommended in Munich!
the hotel sent us direction which were very appreciated as this was our first trip to Munich.
Hotel was well maintained and recently updated, very clean, enjoyed the around-the-clock bar for night caps
Stayed in hotel annex building, no elevator available, had to carry luggage up several flights of stairs. Very difficult for our older relatives.
very good breakfast, friendly staff, nice location, very clean room and bathroom, interesting paintings on hotel walls
The room size & bathroom layout are fabulous especially when we stayed 5 days. Conveniently placed power outlets & WIFI is reliable. Breakfast Had a reasonable selection. Staff were friendly and helpful & having a luggage room to leave our suitcases when we did a 2 day side trip was wonderful. The HBF and underground is about 5 minute walk away with just about everything you need there including lots of eating places, convenience store etc etc. The Christmas Market in Main square about 15 minutes walk.
We got what we bargained for - a very confortable bed every night, and a good breakfast every morning and a convenient location for getting to and from the main station. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Local building works were a bit of a detraction but cannot be helped - we had no complaints
Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Well located and easy to get to from the main train station.Breakfast was varied and well presented. Wi-fi was free and worked well
+ Interior with new materials. + Very clean. + Rich breakfast. + Smiling and helpful staff. + Water boiler available upon request (it was very helpful for us, as we had our eight-month-old with us) + Excellent sleep quality (isolated windows) + Excellent temprature control (isolated windows & adjustable heaters)
- Reception space is limited and shared with the bar. Therefore, it was hard to move around with a push-chair when the reception area was crowded.
The decor was very interesting. The bathroom fittings were very good and were more like statuary. The hotel was immaculate. It was easy to get to the U and S Bahn.
no coffee in the room
Room was small for three Pillows were very small and uncomfortable
The hotel was safe and clean which is number one priority for me.
The mattress was way too soft, probably a bit saggy because I completely sunk in it when sleeping. The next morning I had terrible backache, so much so I couldn't straighten my back and took painkillers to be able to walk the city that day!
Hotel was comfortable, 15 min walk from Old Town, good variety for breakfast, staff helpful and 5 min walk from Central Station
Convenient for central station Reasonably priced Clean and modern
Arriving early in the morning in Munich and although the hotel was very busy, they managed to provide us with an early check-in which was most appreciated.
-Near central station. So its very comfort for transport system -very very big room -very good breakfast -clean and comfort -Value for money
We liked the convenience to the train station, the breakfast was outstanding and the room was comfortable. My husband had trouble with the safe and the automatic windows. Someone was there immediately to help us.
I would have rather stayed in the main hotel, but the room was okay. The floor was slightly dirty in the main room.
During my stay was sick and had to drink a medicine which should be put in a hot water. I called to the reception desk and ask them to send me hot water and they told me: You have to go to the restaurant bar and pay 5 eur for a hot water. Nobody pays attention that some guest is sick and ask them just for water...
Nice central location and a huge room. The breakfast was also very generous. I appreciated that they sent some hotel information prior to our arrival to smooth the way. However...
It is best not to stay more than one night as the beds and pillows are better suited to a youth hostel. They provide uncomfortable foam pads instead of a mattress and a pillow that might as well be some shirts you rolled up to rest your head on while laying on a bench. I visited in December and most of the time I was in the room was spent wearing layers of clothes while wrapped under the blankets as the room was quite cold.
