The atmosphere

No coffee machine or bath robes or slippers in rooms

Have stayed at the Elysee several times and will always stay there when in Hamburg.

All Staff are great and alwyas smiling... Hotel rooms are new with excellent facilities... Free Wi-Fi.... Excellent location....Near almost to most hamburg attractions and facilities, (Dammator train station is 2 min walk, Congress hall is 2 min walk, Alster lack is 10 min. walk, shopping centers are 12 min walk, Many museums are within 5-7 min walk, many backaries and coffee shops are within 3-4 walk.....) Food is nice and delecious.... Nice indoor pool and spa (6:30am-10:30pm)... Quick service on check in and check out..... Large hotel hall.... 3 resturants available..... 2 large enteries with 3 large elevators in each side.... Staff were always ready to answer all my questions with a big smile and true concern... Welcome drink and fruit.... All were great, and if I have the chance to go to hamburg again, I will go to Grand elysee without thinking of anything else....

Nothing.... Only I didn't like to move from the hotel!!! I wanted to stay as much as I can...

Very good hotel for business. Waking distance from Hamburg Messe. Great bar with good atmosphere.

No tea or coffee facilities in room. I like to have a coffee before leaving my room in the morning.

I was there third or forth time and there is simply no other hotel like this one.

Lack of towels in swimming pool. Sheets are washed with something that can induce allergic reaction!

position close to Dammtor railway and city. atmosphere in evening int he plaza Brassiness was excellent, live music contributed to ambiance

air-con noise, back door area of hotel to Turmbar was not very inviting.

Pretty much everything! We even got upgraded on arrival.

Very well placed in the city.Room was spacious and very clean with everything you could need. Very nice bathroom. The hotel is very near to Dammtor station which makes travelling in the city convenient. Choice of restaurants in the hotel. An impressive hotel.

Not very friendly.At check in I was not welcomed just told to check that the details of my booking and name/address were correct and to sign. The bar was equally efficient but lacking charm. It seemed that it was more important to be efficient rather than amiable also to the customer.

This is a very good hotel with an excelent SPA and pool area. All good and a favourite hotel in Hamburg

Doesn't really suit families, and little bit over-priced

Clean rooms wifi good restaurant selection and rental car service within the hotel

Elevators to the rooms are awkwardly located quite a distance from the reception, easily missed, and you have to walk through a convention hall that is often busy to get to them, the voicemail instructions are on German only and not all the staff can speak English

Rooms to a high standard

Shower partician not working,very wet floor. Breakfast found hair in my milk

Room was very nice. Was pleasantly surprised that they have a choice of smoking and non-smoking rooms. Location very good, especially if you're here on business and need to go to the Congress Center, it's just a short walk away.

Internet was awful. Problems connecting, need to re-login every session, bandwidth very poor. Coverage not equally good in all rooms.

The staff was excellent, more then willing to help. Also the swimmingpoule and sauna where amazing!

only internet on one device and on the iphone and ipad internet was not working on my floor

The second room we got for the second night.

The first room for the first night. We both had a terrible day after sleeping. We realized the day after that the ventilation did not work. We both had heading and woke up several times.

not always and not everywhere you can find translation into English. it is annoying sometimes. in all other respects it is very good hotel if price is not more than EUR 120,00 per night...

Elegant, efficient, calm.

the heating system seemed to be erratic and uncontrollable in my room! It wasn't cold, but not really warm and if one wanted to open the window to get fresh air, there was no way of reheating the room afterwards.

Spaciousness. Comfort and facilities in room (but see across). Excellent range of choice for breakfast.

Breakfast was a bit hectic. Not really enough seats for those arriving at the busiest time. Was not sure my seat would not be occupied on return from selecting my food. I do find it astonishing that in a hotel of this calibre there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Classical luxuary atomospher made us happy. Spa was very nice.

Services at restauarang were not good and it was not high level as 5 star even though food was tasty and pricing level was good.

A pretty pricey hotel in good location near the city center with classic but comfortable interior.

The furniture in our room have seen better days, the tv set was totally outdated and no wifi reception in our room only near to the intrance door.
