Hotel Erzgiesserei Europe    

I already knew the area where the hotel is located, not too far from the centre. We wanted an hotel with parking and at a decent price: and we got it :-) The metro stop is close to the hotel and in 2 stops one can reach the centre, also a nice walk is possible.

It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The wifi in rooms was 6 Euro a day so affordable. The staff were ultra helpful. The restaurant was good.

Nothing to report - it was one of the best places I've stayed in.

- no noise from the street or noisy people returning late at night. this hotel is a quite place, especially if your room is facing the inner yard. - close to the subway, about 500 meters - subway station is close to the city, 1 stop away from central station and 2-3 from the city centre - the hotel has around 5 good bikes, which you can take without cost - friendly staff

- internet is free in the area near the reception, but it costs EUR 6,50 a day if you want to have connectivity in your room. Nowadays, hotels should offer an internet in your room for free.

Location, Parking, Room, Bathroom

The room had bigger space than I'd hoped before. The staff was friendly and supportive. A silent place as it is little bit out of inner city.

The location of the hotel is perfect with easy walking district to the "U" and downtown areas. The free breakfast saved lots of money over the stay.

The staff didn't seem to communicate well with each other as they locked us out of our room when we were staying an extra day and had communicated and got the okay the first day of our 4 day stay.

Close to my business needs

Very impersonal hotel in residential part. Only the receptionist was polite. The breakfast crew doesnt even say hello and starts cleaning your table without asking if you are finished. Far away from the city center or anything to see. You have to pay the internet. There is only overpriced hotel restaurant or an italian restaurant nearby.

The breakfast was very good.

The parking is too small..if you have a big car is very complicate to enter in their spaces. In general it's very old hotel, with old forniture,etc..

Staff were friendly, location was good only 1 stop on the underground from the city centre, rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was ideal with plenty selection of fruit, cereals, bread and pastries with a small selection of hot foods also ( sausage, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon ).

Rooms were particularly hot throughout the night although it was bitterly cold outside when we visited - January.

Stuff at reception desk was very friendly There were squirelles in the backyard park in the morning 0 very funny)

It was no place in restaurant during breakfast time and stuff hadn't any wish to help us. Breakfast zone has 2 separate parts and choice of breakfast menu was absolutely diffirent

Its location being close (within walking distance) to Old Town and Lowenbraukeller; and one underground stop away from Munich Main Railway station. Hotel restaurant provides good breakfast.

Workers were very helpful and friendly in making us feel welcome and calm and giving us good directions to get to museums and Christmas markets and the like. The breakfast was held in a rather cramped area, but was of a high quality with lots of nice touches like nuts and dried fruit to put in the different kinds of museli, plus plenty of usual german breakfast type things like various cold cut meats and cheeses and scrambled eggs and sausages etc. And the room was spacious and clean.

The location is not SO convenient. To get there from the HBF train station, you'd better take a taxi, especially if you have a heavy suitcase. And it's right in a residential area of apartment buildings and so on, without many nearby attractions. The wonderful museums are about 20-25 minutes walking away.

This is a hotel that satisfies travellers by offering large and quiet rooms with comfortable beds. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is of good quality. Satellite TV offers a quite good bundle of options for foreigners. WiFI is fast but not free of charge, cost 6.5e per day. Hotel prices can be very competitive, but they vary a lot. In best case you may get a room and breakfast at same price levels as in MotelOne which cannot be compared to Erzgiesserai by room standards and the hotel is never having such a breakfast mess as in MotelOne, as an example. I personally am willing to pay 10e extra for a quiet breakfast.

Parking can be a tiny challenge if you start finding a slot after 5pm when people return from offices to home. The hotel is in a residential area. Hotel carage will cost you some extra.

Convenient location. Two blocks to the subway or U-bahn and also 2 blocks to the streetcars. Hotel is only one station away from the main train station (Hbf). We actually walked to the hotel from the main train station on our arrival. Very quiet street, with large modern rooms, and plenty of windows that open. For Europe the room was double the size of a traditional hotel room and very, very clean!

Excellent value for money. Fantastic breakfast.

Not in a neighborhood where there's a lot going on.
