Good location and kind crew There is not air conditioned. Very unconfortable bed. Very noisy by night. The hairdryer doesn't works very well. There is no freezer, neither gel nor higienic accessories enough.

The hotel is situated close to the station and easy to find when arriving by train. I was there because of Documenta, and it was also very close to central activities. Nice staff. Nice and clean room. Good bed. Good breakfast. Quite a lot of traffic outside. Bierstube close. A lot of noise around 4-6 in the morning (weekend) when the typical shouting of drunk youngsters made sleep impossible. (It was too hot to close the window. But if it isn't very hot, and you can sleep with the window closed, the problem will not be the same. The window gave almost complete noise- reduction.)

War zur documenta da und es war der ideale ausgangspunkt um alle wichtigen ausstellungsorte zu fuss zu erreichen as times go by...... das ist ein hotel der späten 60iger.... und genauso ist es noch heute.

Excellent wi-fi connection in guest room; great location; helpful staff The convenient location of this hotel could be a problem. It''s sometimes noisy after midnight--I heard people shout loudly at 3am on the street for several nights. But I fell asleep again anyways after being woke by noise. Other than this , everything's great. If u dun hv any sleeping problems, I highly recommend this hotel to u.

Very convenient location for the Documenta event, decent enough room and breakfast Dull hotel and not that economical,and only close by to dreary restaurants; when I needed to stay an extra night they were fully booked which proved a blessing as I moved to the much nicer and better value Best Western by the other, Willhelmshohe station.

Location to main station & Kassel Documenta. Breakfast was good. I can hear everything of the next door guy. He was coughing during the night. Matress was too soft and I had back pain. Allergy was serious for me.

It is near the old train station and walking distance to the main square. The hotel is simple, but offers what you need for a short staying. Breakfast is good. It's worthy for the buck spent. I recommend. You have to ask for extra soap. No shampoo. No mini bar to store things that have to be in a cool place, like medicines. But I insist it's worthy.

It was OK for a one night stay. The room was a bit small and shabby - more like east germany circa 1990 than West Germany 2012....Not great noise insulation but I have stayed in worse places. If/when back in Kassel would probably try out somewhere else.

Sehr freundliches Personal, super Frühstücksbuffet. Günstiger Parkplatz direkt hinter dem Hotel. Im Zimmer sind zwar viele Lampen, aber trotzdem bekommt man das Zimmer nicht richtig hell, Z.B. zum Lesen. Vielleicht lässt sich beim nächsten Umbau noch eine Deckenleuchte montieren.

Zimmer angenehm und sauber. Fenster gut schalldicht, kein Straßenlärm zu hören! Frühstück sehr gut! Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war sehr schwach!

La localisation de l'hotel tout près du centre ville. La salle de bain est correcte. Wifi gratuit dans les chambres. Une chambre coté rue à éviter, trop bruyante. insonorisation inexistante ! La décoration et les papiers peints sont défraichis on est là dans un hotel qui mérite une rénovation.

Es war in der Tat sehr günstig Man darf für diesen Preis (30€/Person inkl. Frühstück) auf wirklich nichts erwarten. Das Zimmer war seltsam aufgebaut (u.a. Betten in ca. 1,2m Höhe), unangenehmer Geruch im Flur vor dem Zimmer (zum Glück aber nicht im Zimmer), Frühstück wirklich mit Minimalangebot und -qualität.

Hotellet var greit nok og sentralt plassert i Kassel i forhold til bysentrum og jernbanestasjon. Forholdsvis lav pris og helt ok frokost. Litt slitent hotell som kunne trenge en oppfiskning av lokalene. Sengetøyet var noe slitt og gammelt og putene var direkte dårlige.
