Hotel Excelsior  

Fantastic central location if you are coming from the airport you get on the train and it takes 10 minutes to central Frankfurt, then the hotel is one minute around the corner. Staff are fantastic and speak great english. Free mini-bar is a bonus if you fancy beer,pepsi, water or juice ! Breakfast was lovely and is included and you have access to free wifi as well which is very handy! Excellent choice!

If you are after glamour and luxury in a room this is not the place for you. Having said that, everything you need is there just not large rooms or very elegant. However everything was clean and well kept.

I like the fact that you get a free minibar that is topped up every day there is free internet in the business centre and free newspapers.It is very close to the main railway station -across the road.The reception staff were good.

The rooms are all smoking rooms - the room I was given had a terrible smell of tobacco smoke.I Went down to reception to ask for a different room which I was given.The condition of the hotel I would describe as tatty - it could do with modernising.The breakfast was just adequate.The tv only had 2 english speaking stations and the pay tv did not work which had 2 english language movies (the latest x men movie and Hanna).

The bedroom and bathroom were somewhat modest, small but clean and perfectly well equipped. I liked the bowl of fruit on the table and the mini bar was free. Breakfast was ample and included in the price. Very good value and a welcoming atmosphere.

Cheap price, free wifi & free minibar

Constanct noisy coming from Central station & next door. evne I could heard their convertion throuhg the wall & it never stopped.

The location is excellent, just 2-3 minutes walk from Frankfurt main railway station. The room was very clean.The bed was comfortable. Free internet was available in the room. The minibar was free! ( 2 beers, 2 sparkled water bottles, 1 bottle of water, 2 orange juice and 2 cola). The breakfast was complete and excellent. I recommend it for short business stays. Good value for money

The room was small. There was no space to open your luggage.

Great location right opposite the train station. Made it easy with luggage on arrival and departure. Room rate was extremely good. Best breakfast ever; free wifi; free minibar with replacement each day; coffee/tea/cake free in foyer.

Room was comfortable but small and made it a little difficult to accommodate us and our bags. Don't be in a hurry to use the two lifts. Very slow and one very small.

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Last time I had a room at the back of the hotel and it was quiet. This time I had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the station and tram stop , so it was rather noisy , if the window was open.

Close to main train station, handy for all public transport and a short walk to main city areas. Hotel facilities are good though some areas are looking tired. Plentiful and varied breakfast and free room bar, inc Beer, water and soft drinks was a nice gesture. Good value for money. Free WiFi an additional bonus. Staff were very helpful

Breakfast was varied, abundant, the span of breakfast time is really accomodating to clients. Why not include croissants too?

Why not provide Coffee/tea making facilities in room on a daily basis and not on a first night basis only?

Excellent service, quick, polite. Good internet connection, nice minibar and room service. Very nice breakfast included in the price. I was very happy to have chosen this hotel for our one-night stay in Frankfurt.

No hotel has better location than this! It is just in front of Frankfurt Hbf. Easy to move from/to the airport as well. And, until staying the hotel, I didn't know how nice it was if I could use mini-bar with free of charge! Now I wish the system would spread to other hotels...

Excellent location. Everything is included in the very reasonable price. Excellent breakfast. Free minibar. If you are looking for basic accomodation this hotel will exceed your expectations and not your budget.

The bathroom was too small. The floor carpet was very worn and looked dirty. The room was small and gave a feeling of basic accomodation.
