good location for parking my car free, value for money .
the reception had some dificulties to find my booking .. she easily said " we are full no family room available...."
No parking and noise
Clean rooms, less that 100E for a family room for the night, typical 3 start hotel, although I have stayed in worse 4*
Only negatives - There were street racers driving around into the early hours which was a bit noisy with the window open but the hotel cant do anything about that.
Overall service is good..
While booking..says parking is free, but later I heard 10euro per night.. But anyway there are public parking places for free.
Every thing I didn't like it is bad hotel and bad staff
Staff was very helpful Free printing access Taxi services (from station and airport)
The parking door was out of service, you have to wait half hr to get in and out, the internet was awafl
We chose Holiday Inn Express on our way back from Holland. It was only for only one night so the location, a bit outside the city centre, didn't bother us. You reach it fast anyway, so we liked it. There was enough room for family with two kids. Breakfast was very good, with lots of food to choose from, staff were constantly keeping the dinning room clean. There was a solid internet connection in the room with possibility to upgrade it. We definitely recommend this hotel.
The breakfast is fine
The room size is small not for family
The nearest S-Bahn station's within 10 minutes of walk. And from there it takes just 10 minutes to get to the airport. The hotel is very clean and so are the rooms. In the rooms one can find everything needed for comfortable stay including the kettle and tea/coffee. The sheets and towels were very clean. The staff were very welcoming. Although we arrived late at night we didn't have any problems with checkin which , by the way, lasted less than one minute. The breakfast was nice and fresh. It should be added, however, that the amount of money reserved on the credit card exceeded the sum for the stay, but within less than one week the sum was back on my card. So I didn't have to notify the hotel of this. If I'm ever in Dusseldorf again, I won't hesitate to choose this hotel.
Room . internet . staff (most of them ) .
Location . breakfast
every thing is good
the wifi was very slow
nothing to dislike..
This hotel was easy to access from the highway. Clean. Staff friendly, we were able to keep our parked there while travelling for 1 day into France.
The staff did not speak English very well, and there were some mistakes made giving us instructions on where to find the train station. We had booked a room for 4 and had a double and a pull out couch. Very small, no room for anything else. Our room was very hot, and the air conditioning did not work. We kept window open so that a breeze could come in, but then the noise from the nearby rail line kept us awake.
booked a non-smoking room, got a room smelling like a nightclub because it was a smoking room. sofabed in familyroom was very unconfortable.
Comfortable bed. Room and general facilities very clean.
Needed more variety for breakfast. AC not cool enough on those hot days and nights
when the shuttle driver did not show up the staff immediately organized a taxi to the airport for us
No restaurant available in the hotel or nearby locs.
Croissants were fresh
Booked what was supposed to be a suite & a single room but both rooms were identical & one was substantially more expensive than the other for the exact same room. Had to request additional wifi password for additional room when there were 4 of us checking in to two rooms- were only given 1 that can work on 2 devices.
The hotel looks new and well designed. The breakfast is very good. The lobby and reception staff are very helpful.
The sofa bed arranged in a double room is not a good idea. It cramped everybody's movements inside. The hotel should offer bigger rooms with triple beds to accommodate families. The hotel location is in a newly developed city area. One needs to make meticulous plans for going out and return after visits - otherwise it is quite cumbersome for visitors. Location wise it is good only for visitors with their own cars. This area is more like the American cities. Probably the hotel caters to the newly developed business offices in the area.
The desk receptionist was great. Very friendly and helpful. She helped us find info about where to go, and places to eat. She made us feel very welcome. I appreciated that she was fluent in English, since we only know a little German.
The bed was a bit firm for me. Supportive, but too hard. Seems to be a common thing in Germany to have a very hard mattress. A foam topper would be nice!
Clean, modern hotel Quiet location
No room service
Holiday inn express is a very small oasis. As I have written for Ibis as well, it is a: come, sleep, eat breakfast, go, hotel
Breakfast -in my opinion- should always be included in prices. It is rather unacceptable not to have enough provisions to feed all customers (talking about breakfast)
