Holiday Inn Express Cologne Troisdorf  

The receptionist, Inga, was very helpful and polite - she made our trip very enjoyable. The hotel was very clean and good value for money.

One of the receptionists was very unhelpful on the Saturday daytime, in fact she was downright rude. A complete shock after how nice the other staff had been. Apparently, the hotel does not have an iron which I found rather strange as it came across as a business hotel.

Good but everything find near this hotel. Taxi train and bus service , restaurant also this hotel in good location. Very silents

Good location with easy parking. Very friendly and helpful staff.

A few minor "repair" issues with the room - electrical socket loose, toilet flush handle panel loose - but nothing to spoil my stay.

Room was very comfortable. The service was forthcoming.Cleaniness was all one can desire.Breakfast presented an outstanding variety. The breads and the roll were fresh nad tasty

I liked the location to what I needed to do.

Probably had to pay extra for air conditioning, but wasn't told. Either that or it didn't work and I was just to tired to mess with it.

This hotel was ideal for an overnight break en route from Austria back to England. The room facilities were fine, breakfast was good and available from 06.30. The hotel does not offer evening meals but it does have a bar. For evening meals there is a Chinese restaurant In the same building as the hotel, next door there are a MacDonalds & a Subway, 100 metres away is a decent TexMex restaurant and 500 metres away, over the motorway is a pizza restaurant. The hotel itself was very easy to find. Definitely better & cheaper than German Etap hotels.

Inga the receptionist was a wonderful lady, very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again if we get an opportunity to go to Germany again. Inga recommended the easiest and cheapest means to get into the city by train. Inga was happy to book our taxi for our airport departure. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Good reception, clean & cofortable room. Very good facilities around hotel. The description of Troisdorf is misleading as it is actually the Spck turning off the motorway (caused some delay & extra cost). Otherwise excellent

Staff service and kindness

Room was far too hot, airco did not work, open window was no alternative because of highway noise outside

Отель очень удобно расположен между Кёльном и Бонном и рядом с аэропортом. Для путешествий на автомобиле очень подходит. Небольшой отель, чистые номера, приветливый персонал, очень хорошие завтраки. Выбирал отель в первую очередь по расположению, т.к. из него надо было ехать в аэропорт, сдавать прокатную машину и улетать. Особенно приятны были большие скидки на проживание при раннем бронировании.

Das doppel Bett war leider ein bisschen klein (1,40 m) aber für eine Nacht ging es. Aber die Schlafqualität hat schon gelitten.

Das Hotel ist für ein bis zwei Nächte ausreichend. Es gibt jedoch auch Hotels in unmittelbarer Stadtnähe zu gleichen Konditionen (Die nächste S-Bahn-Haltestelle ist mehr als 10 Minuten vom Hotel entfernt, verfügt aber über kostenfreie Parkplätze, der Tarif nach Köln oder Bonn ist nicht gerade günstig.). Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht, die Zimmer sauber aber einfach ausgestattet. Wer Luxus sucht ist hier fehl am Platz. Für eine Städtereise ist das Hotel aber geeignet.

Das Frühstück war zwar ausreichend, wir hätten uns aber gern ein bisschen mehr Auswahl am Buffet gewünscht. Es gab nur zwei Sorten Wurst und eine Käsesorte, anstatt Rührei nur gekochte Eier und der Kaffee war sehr schwach. Die Fernseher auf den Zimmern flimmern. Außerdem verstehe ich nicht, warum in der Lobby freier Internetzugang angeboten wird, man jedoch auf seinem Zimmer dafür bezahlen soll. Die Atmospäre, dass viele Gäste mit Laptop am Frühstückstisch sitzen ist etwas unangenehm.

Bettgröße / -breite hätte statt 1,60 auch 1,80 sein können und wenn 2 Personen im Doppelzimmer gebucht sind, sollten auch zwei Einzeldecken (dann evtl. auch kleiner) zur Verfügung stehen.
