This family-friendly hostel next to the Spreewald Forest offers rooms with private bathroom, TV and kitchen. It is just 10 minutes from the A13 and A15 highways and offers free parking.

Familienherberge in Lübbenau has a restaurant and drinks shop. A beer garden and barbecue area are available in the summer.

Bikes and small boats can be rented from the Familienherberge. The Spreewelten swimming baths and sauna world are a 20-minute walk away.

Alles was der Selbstversorger benötigt war vorhanden, der REWE-Markt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alternativ gibt es die angeschlossenen Gaststätte. Margo Mature couple Born, Netherlands August 19, 2011	Je had genoeg ruimte in de Familienherberge. De ligging is uitstekend als je naar het Spreewald wilt. Bij 5 overnachtingen maar 1 grote en 1kleine handdoek per persoon vind ik wat weinig.Toen wij er waren was het warm weer . Dan is zo een locatie, het is eigenlijk een flat, best wel warm. Anonymous Family with older children Netherlands July 28, 2011	Na de eerste schrik van de trieste aanblik, is dit een leuke voormalig oostduitslandervaring, Het hotel staat tussen andere 'oostblokbunkers'. De flat was helemaal nieuw ingericht en schoon. In sommige flats wonen gezinnen, in andere is de familienherberg gevestigd. Je hebt een ruime flat voor je gezin met twee slaapkamers, elk voor twee personen, een woonkamer, halletje en keuken. Vlakbij is een zwembad waar je bij pinguins kunt zwemmen en een supermarkt waar alles goedkoper is dan in Nederland. Aan de toeistische kant van het dorp ben je in tien minuten. Daar kun je voor weinig geld een fiets of kano huren en het prachtige Spreewald, een moerasbos, in. De stroom in ons hele flatgebouw viel op een avond laat uit. Anonymous Family with older children Germany April 28, 2011	Die Beschwerde geht mehr an booking.com. Angegeben war: 3. Person gerne mit im Zimmer. Text wurde nicht weitergeleitet und so mussten wir 2 Doppelzimmer bezahlen, obwohl in unserem Zimmer noch ein Bett frei war. Die Anreisezeit war von 12 - 18 Uhr beschrieben. Wir waren 14 Uhr da und mussten bis 17:00 warten ehe wir an den Schlüssel kamen, da die zuständige Gaststätte erst 17:00 öffnete. Alles in allem sehr unzufrieden stellend.
