perfect 1 night stay - amazing room, amazing breakfast - great price
great rooms, nice bfast
wifi was buggy, distance to city center not nice.
View from the room, nice beer garden/restaurant downstairs (not part of the hotel, just very close). Comfortable bed. Pool is small but nice.
Half of the hotel is about 40 years old and in poor condition, very run down and old. You do not know if you will be in that part of the hotel until you check in and they send you dragging your luggage ten minutes through the hotel to find your room. We were moved to a nicer room after complaining and it is like an entirely different hotel. But while the old part is being renovated it is a terrible inconvenience and really ruins your stay having to march through construction the entire time.
Breakfast, pool, view of Rhine
Sofa bed for children required updating.
+ Location + Staff very helpful + Excellent breakfast buffet
- had room close to railway, was sometimes little noisy at night. Due to missing AC, had to leave window open
We liked the patio overlooking the garden and river for breakfest, the pool was a nice option however in need of renovation
When booking, it was not disclosed that we would be put in the old part of the hotel instead of the newly renovated part. The room was sweltering upon arrival, and the window overlooked a terrace which allowed anyone to access the room. There was an oder that permeated the entire place, the old section anyways. Optional wifi for one person only, should be included in such price. Minimal fresh produce at breakfest, staff at the old reception not helpful what so ever. We dislike giving any poor ratings, but frankly, we couldn't wait to get out. Sorry, not so favorate park hotel for us....
Pool was great Friendly staff
Room quite hot
The baby rabbits and coral fish tank are a lovely touch. The country pub atmosphere staff and food were great.
A lot of hotels are dispensing with a top sheet and replacing with doonas. I prefer a top sheet. It's too hot for a doona but need something light.
Very smart modern hotel set in lovely parkland. A choice of restaurants and excellent breakfast.
Love the location of ParkHotel and the fish and rabbits. Reception area, restaurants, conference rooms and outdoor biergarten are all lovely.
Not all rooms have A/C and this is not clear on the internet. On one visit we had booked a larger room but it had no A/C and was located "on the sunny side" of the hotel and got very hot with the large windows. At checkin for our most recent visit we requested A/C and were given a very small room in which the A/C was questionable. Also very weird placement of a window from the bathtub/shower to the bedroom - and no curtain.
Room was very hot
Nice spacious well laid out room
paying for internet
Great breakfast with an even better choice of food. Hotel room was nice, not that new and a little hot though, however offered exactly what we hoped for. Park next to hotel is very nice to walk through. Not far (walking) from the city centre.
Room was rather hot and view was blocked by construction, however that I do not blame the hotel (besides, the room was excellent anyway).
Everything else was excellent
9€ for parking.
The park nearby and the breakfast
The old building needs refurbishing . We were given a room with back view and old furniture. The reception did not inform us about the other entrance ( in the old building) so we had to walk to an fro until we discovered it! I think the website was not clear about the old versus the new buildings an about the Rhein view versus the back view
When turning on the light in the toilet, the light in the room also lit uo. Very inconvenient at night. Apparently an architect error!!
cleanliness, modern and new, staff was great, pool area was very nice.
construction at 630am, tv channel selection was very limited, tv was old and didn't work well, construction had us walk quite a long way with bags from check in and street parking. Parking garage was expensive and very little street parking, internet was not free.
Almost everything ok. Room clean, Personnel ok, nice zoo and fisch :) etc...
Only one thing was bad namely: no free internet in room and no working computer next to reception.
Very clean and modern large room. Very friendly staff. A very pleasant experience from check in to check out.
Comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The setting was beautiful and very convenient for local station. The breakfasts were lavish. This is our second visit and we would recommend to friends
Very nice location, excellent breakfast. Very comfortable rooms.
Internet paid as extra, 5 euros a day is too much for an expansive 4 stars hotel Then line went down and was not repaired.... waste of money.
Room temperature is too cold in the night. My wife caught a cold.
Location is excellent. Facilities are bright, clean and in fine working order.
Physical design is difficult. Older bar tender needs in-service training for customer courtesy.
The free breakfasts were the nearly the best breakfasts we had on the entire trip (including ones we paid for).
The location was a long walk from the city center, and the narrow European streets make driving to the city center difficult. The bathtub/shower was the worst design I've ever seen.
An excellent hotel in all respects.
