Breakfast was great. Helpful staff. Beds were comfortable, some TV channels in English. There was always street parking available. Perfume smell in the 3 person room, WiFi was a pain, distance to town. We booked two 3 person rooms, but on arrival they were not available. We were given a 3 person room, a 2 person room and a 1 person room, for the same price, but had to put our teenage son in a room by himself. This wouldn't work for others with small children.

Very friendly and helpful hosts run this hotel, which also includes a decent restaurant, with German and Bulgarian dishes featured on the menu. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. Costs were quite reasonable, and included free Wi-Fi access. Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable at times. Location was on a busy street along the river, which also included train tracks near by.

Very comfortable bed. Breakfast is included and is excellent. Internet works very well. The parking is free by the roadside. We stayed in a room in the back, away from the main road, so it is quiet. The hotel has a restaurant with warm ambiance. The dishes are hearty and of good value. The historical center Porta Negra can be reached on foot following the main road crossing the bridge.

The room was very clean and very quiet (make sure you get a room facing the back-street, as it is an oasis of tranquillity, while the front of the hotel is a very busy road), feauturing a nice balcony with a tbele and chairs to sit outside. The fact that there is also a restaurant at the hotel, which serves very tasty Balkan grill platters is a plus, as you can eat well and then go straight to the room after a day out in town.

The staff in the hotel is extremely friendly, the atmosphere is very warm, they treat one as a family member. A very delicious and substantial breakfast contributes to a very energetic and cheerful beginning of one's day. The hotel cuisine is just wonderful, they offer a great variety of very delicious dishes. Even a real gourmet will be fully satisfied with the fresh home made meal. The hotel is located on the other side of the river Mosel in a very quite street what allows one to have a good sound sleep at night. To reach the old city center one just has to cross the bridge and walk for 5 mins, what is definitely good after such a hearty breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who values comfort, friendly attitude and wants some peace and quite.

Excellent value for money. The dinner buffet looked great on my arrival (but unfortunately I had already eaten so didn't get to try it). My room had one of the best showers I've had in ages!

Staff was very kind and restaurant was affordable and absolutely delicious. Rooms were clean, and the en suite was very spacious. There were some connection problems with our room, the satellite connection for the TV was decent sometimes but it was knocked out quite often, the strongest WiFi signal was next to the door. Though we came to Trier for the Christmas Market so we did not rely on those entertainment methods.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and couldn't do enough to help us when asked. The hotel was very clean and the breakfasts were plentiful - choice of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, salad and pastries. Our triple room was spacious with 3 very comfy single beds and a large en-suite shower room. The walk into town was only 15-20 minutes (depending on how many photo-stops we had!) across the river which we enjoyed at the start and end of our day. The price we paid for bed & breakfast was very reasonable. We would have liked tea & coffee facilities in the room, and the hotel will probably need a facelift in a few years but these are minor comments, not complaints, as we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The size of the meals were outstanding for value. Staff able to attending to all requests. The medium red red wine is lovely, recommended. . Mattress too firm for my liking. A larger, thicker sheet on bed would be good.

Clean room and friendly staff. We (family with child) have stayed one night in our way from Luxembourg to Germany. Good location if you want to go to the center of Trier (15 – 20 min walking over the bridge). Free parking around the hotel.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast (with Strudel - yum!). Close to the city centre for the other side of the river. We had bikes so it was a quick ride - perhaps not as convenient by foot. Appeared to be a place used by many business travellers. We were concerned when we arrived that the room might be on a very busy street (hotel face and restaurant), but hotel rooms were at the back on a quiet alley. Small but nice room with bathroom.

The hotel wasn't anything extraordinary but it was clean, had friendly staff and provided the basic amenities. This hotel is outside of the city centre (across the river) and took a minimum of 15 min to walk to historic sites. Breakfast was typical German breakfast. Staff was accommodating- he allowed us to stay parked in our hotel spot a few hours after check out. The alley way behind our house was noisy but it was a Saturday night. For the budget conscious traveler a solid stay while in trier. Noise
