This modern, 4-star hotel in the heart of Mannheim is just a short walk from the Rosengarten conference center, the Planken and Kunststraße shopping streets, and Mannheim Main Station.

Quietness, the large room, the bathing room, the building itself and the courtyard. Also the owner is a very kind and helpful man.
The cushion on the bed, but this may be personal (I found it too soft and too flat) Another very small problem was that the wifi code lasts only for one hour. (If you can't find the owner, you cannot access internet) A good thing would be to get two logins (one extra for when the owner is not inside) But I'm almost sure the friendly owner likes to find solutions for most small problems.
One could walk up a reasonably, lit, ascending foot path to Neuleinlingen. Just a pity the two restaurants recommended by staff were both fully booked with functions. So we had to drive to have dinner elsewhere
We were expecting to overnight in a quiet valley along the german wine route. Well we had a room directly on a road which seemed to be busy with racing motor cars till early morning hours. No TV in room.
The host was great to us, made us feel like at home. Excellent breakfast, great English. Great place to get away and enjoy the wine country
During our wine tour, we stayed in Gästehaus Felsenmühle im Tal for 4 nights. Studio Apartment is very big room with fully equipped kitchen, dining table, nice bathroom with bath and shower. It was a cosy ambience and wonderful views of the garden and river from our window, and near to the Pfälzer Wald and Neuleiningen Castle. Close to German Wine Route. Peter is very friendly and helpful owner. We enjoyed our stay in this place and highly recommend it.
There no internet connection, but the owner promise to fix it next week.
Room furniture was good, beds were very comfortable, valley location not all that far from the village's castle above and restaurants there, in wine country. Warm welcome.
Our 2 rooms were accessed off the narrow main road - quite different from the charming country photo. No social space in this building so it was an all weather, outdoor traipse thru car park to reach a small and shared room with 2 tables. Breakfast room was workman canteen style and could be made more welcoming.
We had a triple room and there was plenty of room for 3 adults. It was very charming and clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
If the hotel is full there is not enough parking. We had to park along the road.
Ideal location for us
The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I liked the village, riverside location, courtyard, possibility of getting snacks and drinks in small kitchen, pretty surroundings
Not much to do, not many choices for food
Friendly welcome, wonderful spacious room. Very quiet. Amazing walk up to the fairy tale village - steps only 20m from the hotel
Internet intermittent and not in the room. No breakfast available but bakery nearby.
Beautiful area with a lot of 'wine villages' Neileiningen is a nice old city on top of a hill with a fabulous view Staff is very friendly and helpful
Everything - this little town is just beautiful with a lot of character. We really got to know the locals as Pieter was really helpful in recommending where to eat and sights to visit. Felsenmuhle is a just beautiful - what a setting !!!!
Friendly, clean, and quiet. They also provide a mini-lounge that can be used as a place to have a cup of coffee or a beer. Beautiful patio area to enjoy the outdoors. I would highly recommend this hotel.
No breakfast on weekdays.
Very friendly owners and in a beautiful and peaceful setting
In late, left early so hard to give a full review, but Peter, the host was helpful and friendly even though we were arriving as the Germany-Ghana match was starting.... Excellent English. Great walk up to the old castle from the gastehaus. Beautiful grounds.
For the price, it was exactly what we were looking for.
The house, the room, bathroom, environment, escape from urbanity and rush, small village which is near and beautiful, friendly owner... :D a lot! :)
We were only staying for one night, came in the evening and left in the morning so not enough time to realy make a descent review. Althought our contact with the owners was very positive, they are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and nice, nice environment,..
Uncomfortable beds, no TV, no WiFi, no breakfeast, you have to call to make sure someone is there when you arrive, overprized
I enjoyed conversing with Peter the owner who was a highly intelligent and delightful host.
