location...near the red district
very very nice and big room with nice wifi. nice staff!
need a bit walk from the station, and it is quite quiet nearby, without some places to eat.
The decoration is magneficient, the personal are nice and it was really interesting talking with such an artist. I really advise people to go there when they want to visit kassel.
It was just a weekend so for me and my girlfriend it was percfect :)
We were excited of staying there after reading their reviews and it turned out even better then expected! It is alternative and surprising to every little corner! We stayed in the 50's flat. Every turn there put a smile on our faces! All their rooms have color and character and something to say! The breakfast is great and combined with the wonderful couple running the place, makes you feel at home! :) Makes Kassel worth visiting! ;) Vielen Dank!
The welcome, friendliness, quirkiness, the really comfy bed, a good breakfast, plenty of interesting objets d'art to grab your attention. Certainly unforgettable.
The ladder to bed! It was ok for us, but would not be suitable for less able people. We loved the place but some more conventional guests would not be happy. If you are open minded and want and experential stay ..... you will love this place.
The family of the host are very friendly！！！I like this Hotel！Every aspect ist really good. The envirornment of the hotel is very creativ. The host is a photographer, the hostess is an artist.
The garden was amazing! Good place to wake up at. Very nice and simplistic apartment to completely come to rest and relax.
room decors, helpful service
Liked the rooms. I stayed in the Elephant room but the Boat one looked lovely :) suspended bed sounds like a lovely date :D
Not really a problem and can be ignored. Very close to a "red light district" area
This hotel is so cleverly designed inside that you just must stay there!!!! Very very artisticly done! Was really impressed! And everything was just what we needed and expected. Had really good night sleep.
Great style and better people. Thanks for the bike.
Art y hôtel with vintage stuffs and original customized bedrooms. The landlords are engaged on arts and crafts way. Very pretty place !
Charming rooms, charming hospitality and great pricing. Not far from bus stations.
The Theme Rooms, the quirky atmosphere. Photography was interesting. Art work and displays were fun to look at and discuss. Host and hostess were informative and fun to talk to. Their travel related collections were interesting. Other travelers attracted to the site were interesting and also looking for a "unique" experience. Atmosphere was casual!
The experience was completely positive! We did not see or experience anything that turned us off. Wish we had planned a longer stay!!
I wasn't quite sure what to expect as I walked up to the building. It appeared to be more of a junkyard than a hotel. As I walked into it, I saw that it was a carefully curated site which was very special and unique. The family that owns it was very kind and should be proud of the their unique offering.
It is a bit out of the way and their were some prostitutes on the streets nearby.
Location is convenient
The room was small and many flies were there when we were in
Very kind hosts. Lovely decoration. Good breakfast (worth the extra 6 Euro) Good location for business downtown or at university.
The shower, while clean enough, is a bit awkward because you can't adjust the temperature before you get in without making a big old mess and embarrassing yourself.
The decor, and the ambience, was more like a family home, Nice breakfast in the morning, Good information about activities.
"Like a cup of coffe. The first zip, taste strong, but then you realize how nice it in fact is The place was great, full of art and very cozy.
The hosts were great people to talk to and very helpful. The hotel was very nice decorated, with lots of details.
It was hard to find the reception room and navigate around the hotel.
Everything about the place. Stayed for a few days and loved it so much that we had to come back the next week. Tschuss from Lebanon
Nothing, everything was perfect.
The Owners of this Lovely Hostel made it literary a Frame of Art, it is one of the most Clean, Cozy and Lovely Hostels i've ever been to. People who don't have the sense of art wouldn't understand how stylish each room is. Each single Zimmer (/Room) has its own code (Shoes, swing ...) and the general code WOLF. No one would interfere in whatever you do, everything is clean, 2-3 minutes walking to the tram station in the Stunning City of Kassel. In my next stay, definitely Foto-Motel is my TOP list Hotel. Best Regards from Lebanon, Popozao
The owner's of the hotel are very hospitable people. The rooms are well designed, they differ from each other, so it is exciting for visitor to see all of the rooms. It is really interesting to live there, because everything is designed with passion.
