After long days of sightseeing, we enjoyed relaxing on our balcony off the bedroom each night. The location was perfect, being central to all the key places on the Mosel River. The hostess went out of her way to make our trip wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ferien Weingut Schneider. We had a good sized ensuite double bedroom, with separate lounge and balcony overlooking the Rhine - so lots of space. The coffee machine in our lounge was especially welcome. We could purchase a range of Schneider wines at a very reasonable prices to take to our room - and an excellent range of homemade jams to take away with us. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice including the owner's own grape juice. All in all, it represented good value for money.

We were a group of 8 bikers and as soon as we arrived Herr Schneider cleared space for parking on the yard. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfi and the complimentary bottle of vine went down a treat. The breakfast buffett was filled plenty and good as was the the vine fridge with their own vines! Note though this is not a hotel, therefor evening meals need to found off the premisis but with plenty of hotels and pups within 1/2 mile you'll be spoilt for choice. Us Eight can only recommend this b&b and would stay again should we head that way.

I had arranged a motorcycle tour to Austria for a group of friends and required a stop over on our return journey to Rotterdam. The Ferien provided a very reasonable overnight stop and the local wine festival was starting in Ellenz so this provided an enjoyable evening. My 1st floor room had a terrace that looked over the Mosel - very pretty. I would use the ferien again

Located in nice little riverside town with good facilities inc good restaurants. Plenty to do whatever interests, good bus services and lots of river trips. River Rhine short car ride away through spectcular scenery with all that region has to offer. Took fruends who had never before been to Germany and they were entranced, overwhelmed by it all. My wife and I have been to Germany many times and have a high regard for this lovely region Limited parking. Hotel close to river and busy lock which is in process of being enlarged which generates some noise. Should be resolved when work completed.

Our stay was great, very good value for money and an ideal location to tour the Mosel valley. Ute the owner spoke very good english and gave us good information on various spots to visit. A very nice lady and she helped in any way she could.I would recommend it to anyone nothing posh but down to earth and room and breakfast was good. Dennis James

A great place to stay. Very good price. A bottle of the family wine to welcome us which was really enjoyable. The owner was really helpful, she speaks excellent English and the the balcony, overlooking the Moselle River was an excellent place to enjoy the wine. This hotel is part of the Bett and Bike accommodation group and to date has been the best value for money of anywhere we have stayed.

Gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk & behulpzaam.
