Nice village in the Back Forest.
Nice village in the Back Forest. Enjoyed walking around village, the shops and farmers market were great. We stopped in the coffee shop across from the church the coffee and food were excellent. Dinner at Rebstock Restaurant was great with good menu selections. We enjoyed our trout.
The hotel is beautifully located in a quiet spot in the Black Forest. My good-sized single room was on the 2nd floor, but there was a lift nearby. I had a shady balcony with table, chair and lovely window boxes of petunias. The staff were polite, friendly and good at anticipating one's needs and likes. Meals were excellent: a generous breakfast buffet, including scrambled eggs and bacon. I had dinner outside every evening. The schnitzels and other dishes were generous in portion size and delicious, especially the accompanying salads.
Beautiful hotel in a great location for exploring the Black Forest. The owners are amazing. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We felt more like friends and family than guests. It is obvious they love what they do and care about their guests. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is incredible. Unfortunately, we missed dinner but I’m sure it would be great. High point of the trip. Hope to stay again someday.
Convenient location - nice little town with options to shop and eat out. Close drive to the All Saints waterfall and near to many trails. Room was well furnished and there was plenty of space. Breakfast was generous, with a great selection of breads, meats, cheeses and fresh fruit. There's a lovely garden area/restaurant that's part of the hotel for evening meals.
Lovely views, beautiful traditional Black Forest Hotel. Very clean, food was amazing, very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Chose rooms with balconies, was not disappointed. Plenty of parking along road outside hotel as well as carpark.
Finken rooms are simple but practical and functional. With the hot weather, we were happy to have a fan in our room. We appreciated the independent entry and exit of the hotel, without going through the restaurant part.
Very good located stay - right in the center of the Schwarzwald. Convenient parking and close by shops. Has restaurant in the hotel, however we did not use.
Decent breakfast served.
The breakfast and the food was amazing! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very hygienic, the restaurant was cozy and beautiful, with very delicious food.
