These country-style apartments are located in the climatic health resort of Walkenried, in the south of the Harz Mountains. All apartments feature free Wi-Fi and kitchen facilities. Apartments Am Kupferberg feature bright interiors with wooden furniture and parquet floors. All include a seating area with cable TV and some have a balcony. Bread rolls can be delivered on request. Shops and restaurants can be found in the centre of Walkenried, just a 5-minute walk away. Apartments Am Kupferberg offer a view of the River Wieda. The surrounding countryside of the Southern Harz Nature Park is ideal for hiking and cycling. The apartments are a 5-minute walk from Walkenried Abbey Ruin and a 10-minute walk from Walkenried Train Station. We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Am Kupferberg. We stayed in the small apartment which was compact but very cosy. The kitchen area was very small however we had no plans to cook meals during our stay. There was a two ring burner, toaster, kettle, fridge with small freezer etc that was ideal for snacks and breakfast. There is a local bakery within walking distance. The small bridge is just by the apartments leading to nature walks through the woods. The apartment was spotless and lots of attention to detail with lovely thoughtful gestures I.E. laminated maps for local walks, our names in a love heart on our door etc. The beds were two single that folded away inside a cabinet, however having the conservatory attached we didn't find the need and left them down. The garden was very nice and well kept. It suited us very well and there was nothing we didnt like.
