Hotel Fischzucht  

We drive to Hungary three or four times a year, and break our journey at this hotel. ( Würzburg is about half-way.) The hotel is only 5 minutes from the motorway. There is free parking, and if you want to go into the city, the tram stops just opposite. ( You don't need a car in the centre, because a lot of it is pedestrianised. ) The hotel is comfortable and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms have lovely walk-in showers, and the breakfast is excellent.If you want to go for a walk after driving, you are close to the river, and charming old cobbled streets.

The restaurant is not particularly good, but there are several other places to eat within walking distance. It's not a luxury hotel with lots of facilities, but it suits our purposes.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff (English-speaking). Lovely breakfast. It's god for us because it's so close to the motorway, so we stay there when travelling to Hungary, but it would also be good for a city break, because there is free parking, and you can so easily get the tram to the centre, where you don't need a car at all.

We like it al, and often stop here en route to Hungary

Food There is a good and reasonable restaurant and the breakfast was very good

It is situated a little far from the centre of Wurzburg . Too far to walk. So you need to drive or take a bus to get to the historic sights.

Hotel is close to the A3 motorway ideal for staying overnight. Staff extremely nice and helpful. Excellent variety of breakfast. Good value for money.

Staff were very nice- let us use the hotel laptop overnight, let me print boarding passes. Very good breakfast.

No wi-fi (but free laptop in the lobby).

warm friendly staff and service. fresh and good breakfast. added espresso to cappucino and coffee was fine. traffic ok (fri night/sat morn) we liked the church bells/s. Big clean airy room (family room 5). we are fussy but the place was simple and it worked for us. There was a basic freshness and calm. internet in reception. nice restaurant. good public transport.

more milk portions. We bought milk in and used the fridge in the room

We stayed in the extension to the hotel which provided a good sized room with very modern and well designed furniture. The breakfast room was a delight to sit in which was matched by a good breakfast selection. The position of the hotel was ideal for catching a tram into the city. Parking was easy and free. The staff were always very helpful and friendly.

Following the aa route planner was not easy and the hotel was hard to find. The bar was a little short on drinks. It was a struggle to find us some rum.

Free parking. Breakfast included in the price - no hidden extras. Nice restaurant and convenient for tram into town.

It had a good restaurant/bar attached. Good modern facilities.

It was difficult to find/get to, and wasn't very near Wurzburg centre, but neither of these factors would deter us from recommending the hotel.

A well placed Hotel in a pretty village. The staff were very pleasent and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean.

Er werd gratis een fles mineraalwater op de kamer gezet en op de hoofdkussens hadden ze een snoepje gelegd. Het personeel was er heel vriendelijk en we hebben er 's avonds zeer lekker gegeten. Ook het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber das Bad war sehr modern!

Das Frühstück war okay allerdings vermisste ich Rühreier!!
