Hotel in nice quiet area, plenty of restaurants & bars. Nice detail was the espresso machine. Rooms were renovated but in the cheap way.

Great price for a hotel of this quality. The hotel is located in a magnificent 19th century building and each of the rooms are decorated with tasteful artwork. The rooms are spacious and have high ceilings. Our room had a nice balcony but it was a bit too chilly in November to sit out and enjoy it. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. I look forward to returning and will recommend hotel to friends and family.

the staff were all terrific my room was overheated because of the pipe system and I had to sleep with the window open, therefore traffic and street noise woke me

Staff was excellent, accommodations very nice especially in the room, own capsule coffeemaker, sony speakers to put in your iPod/iPhone, even the breakfast was very nice and not just a teutonic spartan breakfast but with to order eggs and bacon. Enjoyed proximity to one of my favorite italian restaurants in berlin. Place would have been perfect if there was a place to exercise but this was minor

The hotel was situated in a great area, handy to the Underground, with plenty of good dining options nearby. The buffet breakfast was excellent. I think it will be necessary to install some kind of cooling system for hot days. The windows cannot be left open due to the traffic noise.

Very friendly staff, contemporary room style. You did not pay anything until you were at the hotel. Even then they did not take any credit card detail before you even got to your room. Very refreshing to pay at the end of the sat rather than upfront. No bath

Andreas at the desk was an excellent resource, spoke English well and was very thoughtful. The rooms have high-ceilings, lovely modern designs and extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The tall double-paned windows and dark curtains kept things quiet when I needed to sleep. The iPod stereo was a plus, as was free in-room Wi-Fi. The location is excellent, just a short 2-block walk to the Mehringhamm U-Bahn (subway) station. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again! Nothing negative at all. It was a terrific place and great value.

Wunderschönes Haus... Gute Energie... Lage ideal, allerdings sind die Parkplätze vor dem Hotel begrenzt. Deshalb werden wir das nächste Mal das Angebot des Hotels annehmen, einen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage zu reservieren. Sehr gute, saubere Zimmer... moderne Ausstattung - sehr wohltuend: Original-Kunstwerke an den Wänden..... Gesundes Schlafen in speziellem Schlafsystem .... Sehr freundliche Menschen im Rezeptions-und Frühstücksbereich... Hervorragendes Frühstück - bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis - im schönen Ambiente des Restaurants.... Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und das Hotel bereits an Freunde weiterempfohlen, freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Berlin-Besuch und werden sehr gerne wieder dort übernachten....

Das Hotel liegt, wenn man die Gegend mag, ideal zentral in Kreuzberg, die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, ein sehr ansprechendes Restaurant befindet sich im Hotel. Das Frühstück ist gut und preiswert, das Ambiente ansprechend. Wir hatten "nur" ein Standardzimmer gebucht, welches jedoch recht gross war. Eine kleine Kritik: die Betten sind nicht besonders bequem....Insgesamt stimmen Preisleistungsverhältnis und Ambiente. Wir würden für einen Aufenthalt in dieser Gegend Berlins dieses Haus wieder wählen. Petra Konrad, Italien

Hotellin aamupala oli hinta/laatusuhteeltaan oikein hyvä. Huoneet siistejä ja avaria. Plussaa huoneesta löytyvästä ipodliitäntä kajareista. Hotelli myös rauhaisalla alueella mistä kuitenkin löytyy mukavia baareja ja ravintoloita. Huoneemme oli kadulle päin joten pari ensimmäistä yötä meni liikenteen ääniin totuttelussa. Viereisen kirkon kellot lyövät aika kovaan joka aamu noin klo:8-9 aikoihin joten tähän heräsi joka aamu.

Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer das sehr klein war! Das Personal hat bereits um 7 Uhr angefangen im Flur herumzupoltern. Die erste Nacht musste ich bis zwei durchhalten weil eine Hochzeit im Restaurant war. Zum Frühstück: Das Obst war unansehlich und die Brötchen aufgebacken. Für die Hälfte des Preises hätte ich auch in ein Ibis Hotel gehen können wo ich sicher mehr Ruhe gehabt hätte!

24 uurs service aan de balie (nachtportier). Ontbijt. Properheid. Vriendelijk personeel. Bar en kleine tuin/binnenplaats zijn niet uitnodigend. Het gebouw is oud ,dus krakende trappen en vloeren.

Günstige Lage. Freundliche Mitarbeiter. Ansprechendes Haus mit "Flair" und Komfort. Gutes und vergleichsweise preisgünstiges Frühstück. Ein Haus, in dem man sich wohlfühlen kann und das wir ggf. auch wieder buchen würden. Unser Zimmer lag zur belebten Yorckstraße hin (und nicht, wie die Bilder suggerieren, zum schönen Innenhof). Der Straßenlärm war in der ersten Nacht sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ab der zweiten Nacht haben wir mit Ohropax jedoch gut geschlafen.

Service, Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit haben wir selten so ausgezeichnet erlebt. Das angeschlossene Restaurant e.t.a. Hoffmann ist ein weitere Pluspunkt. Empfehlenswert!
