The Hotel is located on the edge of the Rhine and is less than 2 hours from Frankfurt Airport add to this the most beautiful part of the Rhine it is a perfect place to stay when arriving or leaving Germany. |

Friendly, but not always the most efficient staff. My request for a room was upgraded to an apartment with lr, kitchen, sleeping area, and a lovely terrace right along the Rhine River. The restaurant was good, but the menu remained the same for lunch and dinner the entire time we stayed there--four days. Breakfast was very good. The hotel lies well ourside the towno= of St. Goar, something I did not realize when I made the reservation. Also, the computer for internet linkage was on a tiny shelf in the hall--no room for a piece of paper to write on. The computer had to be switched on by one of the staff each time one wanted to use it, and we had to open a T-Mobile account for e- mail access. Very behind the times. |

Food was excellent, and I have never had a freshly cooked scrambled egg for breakfast while I waited before, anywhere. Tremendous! It was near enough Boppard to be copable, and the taxi service was on the ball. No Lift and I was on the top floor! Ideally it could be rebuilt about 10km north, within walking distance of the Boppard Weinfest, or to be more accurate staggering distance from the Boppard Weinfest! |

The close proximity of the hotel next to the Rhine. The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was varied and of excellent quality and presentation. The staff were very helpful I was disappointed at it being quite far from the centre of St. Goar. |

Lovely restaurant with outdoor access to terrace overlooking the Rhein. Room with a view of the river. Great for our purposes as abase for cycling up na down the Rhein. It is in a valley so trains and road run close by - but if you don't like valleys don't go to them??? |

Accommodation, meals and staff service was very good. The locality of the hotel adjacent to main rail traffic unfortunately does detract a little from the otherwise overall high standards |

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, lovely food (although the flies did put us off a bit!!!!). Childrens playground near eating terrace was a bonus - we could eat and our 4 year old could play ! |

Only stayed 1 night. View was great. We were disappointed that we could not have an evening meal after driving all day and arriving at 20.00 because there was a private function and dinner for guests finished at 19.00. We could not even get a beer. We were not told about this until arrival. Because the hotel is about 2k out of town we had to get a taxi to & from a restaurant. The room bars were empty. 1 large room 1 small same price |

Saimme todella tilavan kattohuoneiston 3-hengen perheellemme. Aamiainen oli hyvä, sängyt laadukkaat sekä näkymä Rheinille oli viihdyttävä. Tuli ihmeteltyä joen vilkasta proomuliikennettä. Junarata oli vieressä, onneksi huoneemme oli vastakkaisella puolella. |
