In our Restaurant zur Weinsteige, which holds many certificates, chef and owner Jörg Scherle, sommelier Andreas Scherle and the team will pamper you. Thanks to nearby public transport via U5, U6 and U7, you have easy access to theatres, the A8 motorway or the airport. The Neue Messe is only 9 to 12 km away. In summer you can enjoy the cuisine from Jörg Scherle the "Flair Chef of the year 2003" on the open-air. You can choose between the garden under the vines in front of our 5000l aquarium or our terrace with Mediterranean flair midst the city.

Area information

The famous shopping street of Stuttgart "Königsstraße" with a lot of cosy cafes invites you to stay and relax.
And we are also convenient situated regarding to the public transport connection. The hotel is only 10km away from the airport and the motorway so that we are easy to reach.

-A very friendly welcome - Large rooms - Although the hotel is on a busy street no noise in the rooms. Not far from the city centre and close to a u Bahn stop.

The layout of the hotel is somehow strange. This leaves the hotel without a lift, which is not comfortable when you stay in top floors or have some luggage (still the hotel people help you with this). -As windows should not be opened (due to noise), we were suggested to leave our wc door open in order to allow for better air circulation.

Very close to city center, tram stop right outside of hotel.

there is no air condition in the rooms.

The hotel manager was so helpful, showing us where to go on maps, booking restaurants and shows for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

The stay was very enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was almost perfect. The hotel is full of charm and character. Also has good parking facility.

There are no lifts beyond the first floor but this is not a major issue.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly.

It is a beautiful hotel. Rooms are quite comfortable.

The room facing the street was too noisy. No heating was available though it was cold. Smoke from the adjacent room was felt in the room.

The atmosphere, it is not an anonymous business hotel. The restaurant is fantastic with excellent food and very knowledgable staff. Free internet is a great plus. Easy to access the city with the U-bahn,

i did not know how to phone the reception - no information in the room
