Very elegant hotel with simply outstanding restaurant, and a very classy staff that treated us with the utmost grace. Very helpful in assisting with travel arrangements.

The window air conditioning unit did not seem to work too well. Trolley line runs in front of hotel, which is somewhat noisy, but not too bad. Very conveinent for getting around town however.

Location

No elevator. Hotel was very disruptful for children. Many guests coming in late and rooms are not sound proof. Neighborhood caused concern for safety after dark.

Great staff - very friendly indeed, very nice and spacious rooms in the Schloß building, great location for everything.

The Internet connection in the room was failing from time to time, but it worked all the time at the main building.

I have stayed in this hotel before and the staff has always been very helpful, understanding and friendly. You have to pay extra for breakfast but its worth it as it is very good.

They didn’t have an elevator.

The rooms are excellently appointed and comfortable, the restuarant and food/wine are exceptional and a good value. ALL the staff members were very friendly and personable and some humerous (who said Germans couldn't be funny). This was our second time at this hotel and the next time we're in Stuttgart, will try to get a room here.

Hotel Wortz Zur Weinsteige was clean and well laid out. we had an Apartment and a hotel room next door. we were a family of 6, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, a child and a grandmother. our youngest son lost his teddy in the laundry and the staff went out of their way to be sure it was returned to us before we left. the staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our time there. This hotel was within walking distance to the city and if this is to difficult the tram is outside the door and is 2 min to the main rail station. There are connections here to all the main attractions. The rooms were always warm and cosy.

There are no tea and coffee making facilities which would have been good as it made breakfast was difficult. this would be an advantage for travellers coming from english speaking countries where this is the norm. For older travellers the access to the rooms may be difficult as there is no lift and the rooms are over several levels.

I really like the freiendly service with the employees, From the time I walk into the hotel. I was very amaze at the whole establishment could speak very good english, I would like to thank the whole hotel for there support and making my group feel comfort from the time we check in, Thank You from FOREVASWAAG ENT. , I really want to thank the lady at the front desk for going out her way for our service and need, and thank you to the guy who work in the kitchen to let me get extra supplies.

very nice 'traditional' german type rooms - very clean and quiet

Size and comfort of the room, a decent location and friendly staff. The koi fish area attached to the rear of the hotel was a real treat.

The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was helpful being able to use the internet. The staff were friendly. And it was a nice luxury to have a bath.

I think it was a little bit expensive, and would have preferred to get a cheape hotel, but could not find one.

The owner was so welcoming and helpful, and his entire staff mirror his attention to detail. The food was amazing, so tasty and economical. We would stay at Hotel Woertz agan if we were staying in the downtown Stuttgart area. Thank you for so many wonderful memories!

Charming hotel, rooms as an old world feel, very nice. Restaurant right on the premises which was a pleasant surprise.

Luxury great furniture and decoration, helpful and excellent staff, very nice and warm environment and very close to U-bahn .only 15 minutes walk to city center and central station. We were 4 adults with two children and had an apartment with two bedrooms and we enjoyed it a lot. Strongly recommended.Be careful! The way from central station to hotel is somehow uphill. It is not easy to go with luggage. Instaed go to Dobblestrasse U-bahn stop and go down the hill to reach the hotel.

Not having lifts. We were at third storey but not a big deal because the staff helped for the luggage. Even our two seniors enjoyed the hotel.

The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating. Their positive attitude made it easy to want to stay again. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. Highly recommend, everything was prepared wonderful and tasty!

The hotel is hotel is really nice, all decorated in wood and tapestries. We had a room facing the street and one facing the yard, the one facing the street was a concern because of the hill and the trams, but with the double windows closed we had no noise at all. From 5 hotels of our trip (through Germany and Slovenia) was the only hotel with a mini fridge in the room. We heard the hotel's restaurant was great, but unfortunatelly they were closed for vacations on the day we stayed there. The location is good, close to the city centre, but it has a little hill to come back from the centre, nothing too tiring, but you may need a taxi to go back to the hotel after walking in Stuttgart's city centre or after having one too many beers at any biergarten.

The rooms have no a/c and are too hot, we had a little fan in the room, but it was not sufficient as we could not open the windows because of the noise from outside, so we didnt have a good night's rest. The breakfast is paid, and we didn't think it live up to the 10 euros, as many of the food there were "too German" for our taste (smoked salmon and blood sausages), they should have more choices for the price they charge, more fresh fruits for example. And the waitress in the morning didn't speak English. Also, the internet wasn't working in the rooms at the time.

A very comfortable apartment, more than proper for 3 adults.

Rather limited breakfast if compared with the price. No air conditioning. No elevator (in a 5 floor building).

Shabby and showing signs of age, nice staff, but our room was hot and air conn inefficient, if opening the windows the noise of passing trams made sleeping impossible
