Location is very good and hotel stuff is friendly and kind.
Breakfast is expensive.
On the day of our departure my son was ill. We had already checked out of our room but wanted to delay our onward journey for a bit until he felt better. We were very kindly given a room to use so that he could lie down and recover. This was vey kind of them and very much appreciated.
I love staying in such a beautiful building, the rooms were small but cosey. Had to open a window in the middle of the night because the rooms were a bit stuffy. Staff was great and was glad they had parking because I drive a big American car
Nice old-style look of the hotel. The restaurant in the ground floor is great! It is a bit expensive but the food and wines are really worth it. The location is perfect for the city center walks and good transport connection with the other city parts.
I booked a double room but got a twin room, very small with quite an old furniture with the window to the street. The bathroom was beautiful but also very small. Besides it was quite cold in the room and bathroom Taking account that the temperature was below 0 I could not find any heating device. I would expect more from the room for the value paid.
Good location for the centre of Stuttgart. Comfortable apartment, helpful staff, good room service and free Wi-Fi is always a bonus. Restaurant was excellent. Would use again.
- staff in the restaurant were professional and nice, reception just average - not that far from the city center - complimentary apples and water
- very old equipment in the room. Do they have enough resources to maintain and refurbish? - shower head not fixed, spraying all around - no lift, but somehow accepted in the old hotels - restaurant: kind of Michelin service, but very average food. Not worth money.
We enjoyed Japanese Koi pond in the garden. The restaurant was very good. Staff friendly.
Bed was luxurious, spa bath superb, hotel decor very interesting!! Staff very nice and accommodating. Very helpful with a lost baggage issue also.
Few English film channels.
Everything - comfort, design, NEW elevator. Great vine card!!!
Poor WiFi signal.
Only hotel I could find 3 room suite, as we are a family with 3 teenagers. Hotel was within 2 blocks of a super market, bakery, cafes and train station. Walking distance to many things. Secured parking.
weak water pressure in shower. If you are a light sleeper the train may keep you up. Hotel is on a main road in the City.
The double room has the classic style of the hotel.
The 5 apartment bedroom doesn't have the charm of the hotel. The water that comes from the shower is very slow and little. The shower for all rooms - water too little and too slow
Most of the staff were very helpful
The elderly owner appeared grumpy
Breakfast was delicious. Rooms very clean. Location close to a tram (go to Dobelstrasse and walk downhill if you have luggage), but only a short walk to the city.
No tea making facilities in the room. There is a fridge.
Had an apartment for our family of four which was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were excellent and parking facilities on site. Would definitely use this hotel again.
Good location to access the town centre however not the most picturesque area.
The reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Great city centre location with excellent public transport. Great breakfasts and lovely jacousie bath in the room. Hotel has real character unlike boring big chain hotels and a friendly personal service
Little bit noisy because of busy road
Everything. WIFI is excellent!
Good location. A very nice family hotel with a very cute garden. The stylish, big, clean and comfortable room was with everything we needed. It was so great to stay there.
- restaurant had an amazing atmosphere, was delicious (dry aged beef, foie gras, eel entry, great wine!) - very good service! - very friendly hotel staff - room felt like a cultural experience of visiting Stuttgart 100 years earlier - very nice breakfast and great value for money
- room smelled of old
no bar for an easy drink
The room is good, and I noticed they newly installed a lift for our luggage. And parking is in their own garage.

Location steep hill to city centre but trams were available
We stayed at Zur Weinsteige / Flair Hotel Woertz Stuttgart for 1 night . An unauthorised and unexplained amount (eur39.90) was charged to our credit card. We fully paid for our stay on check out (room + breakfast + parking), and so were surprised to find the additional charge dated the day after check out. No items were taken from the minibar by us, and and we suspect we may have been charged for costs associated with another guest. Amount has been disputed.
Good location! Close to public transport and 5mins from city centre. Hotel was lovely and peacefull and the staff were very helpfull. Would come back again.
No air con, but a desk top fan was provided!
The hotel was stunning, the rooms, service and staff. A draw to the more affluent guest. The owner and his family are truly in the hospitality business.
It is hard to say I didn't like something solely based on my wallet. I would say you are inclined to eat in the Restuarant given the location and lack of options within walking distance. While I thought the prices were high, the quality of their product likely justifies the cost. Pricey but excellent food.
The beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and the fish were amazing. The location was also very good and central. The building is very nice!
The breakfast was a disappointment. We read that the breakfast is good, but was not by any means in the standards of a 4 star hotel. We arrived at the table at 9 (it was supposed to last till 10), many of the dishes were already emptied (and of course not refilled). The fruits were spoiled. One of the staff members (the elder lady) was not very welcoming in particular. When we entered the room (2 bedroom apt), we could already smell the toilet which I think had a broken fan. We asked for dental kit from the reception. He charged each for euro 2.5 (which is a lot in Germany) and they were so old that the toothpaste was completely dried out! I returned them in the morning and they didn't charge us for it at the end. I wouldn't recommend going there!
