Fleming's Deluxe Hotel Frankfurt City  

Niet veel , prijs-kwaliteiteit verhouding klopt niet.

1) Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is niet correct. 2) kamers zijn te klein 3) geen badjas op kamer. 4) Lange wachttijden bij in-checken en onbeschoft hotel personeel. 5) Vals brand-alarm inclusief evacuatie en aanwezigheid brandweer.

Luxe uitstraling met fantastisch moderne kamers. Zeer matige handdoeken welke niet bij deze uitstraling thuis hoort. Erg jammer dat we op oudejaarsavond niet konden dineren maar het met roomservice moesten doen, welke overigens prima was. s,morgens uitstekend ontbijt in de prima ambiance.

Zie boven voor de omschrijving met als aanvulling dat wij zeer duidelijk hadden gekozen omdat er op uw website duidelijk stond dat er één groot bed in de gekozen kamers zouden zijn (dit ivm het slapen van het kind bij de ouders in het bed) en dit bleek bij beide kamers niet het geval te zijn. Indien dit niet was vermeld hadden wij vermoedelijk in eerste instantie voor een ander hotel gekozen.

Ligging in het centrum van de stad, bijzonder gebouw uit de sixties.

Onpraktische badkamer, onderhoud van de kamer was niet van het niveau voor een 5sterren. In het algemeen geen 5sterren waard, maar een "would be player", op alle niveaus. Veel te duur voor wat het is, zelfs op beursdagen in Frankfurt.

Ontvangst en gastvrijheid

Een uitstekende locatie met goede verbindingen met het openbaar vervoer. Veel belangrijke bezienswaardigheden en winkelgebieden waren te voet bereikbaar.

Het ontbijtbuffet was niet praktisch opgesteld. Ondanks de dubbele beglazing was er 's-nachts veel lawaai van het verkeer te horen.

Goede verzorging prima bedden mooie kamers.

Excellent location, nice and spacious room that actually was similar to what it looked like in the pictures (a rare event!). The bar at the 7th floor was a bit like the Rainbow-room, expensive drinks, but fantastic view!

Breakfast staff was incredably slow, even the morning we were alone in the restaurant, and had problems understanding that when we ordered "the same" as our spouse, we actually wanted one each! Also the "cook" could not cook an omelette. Besides, the staff knocked on our door each day around noon asking to either refill our water supplies or check the minibar or whatever - even though we had loked our door .(There was no "Do-not-disturb"-sign, so the extra manual inside lock was our only option for signalling that we did not want to be disturbed...).

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Frankfurt. Walking distance to the shopping area Zeil and many restaurants and cafes. It seats right above an u Bahn station (u1-2-3-8) so transportation is not a problem. Also walking distance to the HauptWach in about 3 minutes. As a business traveler the tings that interest me are comfortable very quite room, great bed and an excellent shower. The Fleming's is good on all accounts. Free hi speed WiFi round it up nicely. The room is not big but the see through shower booth help in making it feeling more open then it really is. Nice kinky feature... Breakfast was petit but good although the staff there is not as attentive as you'd expect. The view from the roof top restaurant is it's best feature and worth the seat.

A functioning air conditioning is a feature you expect from a hotel at thaqt level. It was not and the stuff remained clueless about it for my whole stay. Luck it was colder days most of the time but in a warm day the room temperature rose and the sauna result was a nightmare.

When it comes to 5 stars hotel you should expect for some minimum conditions: Reasonable concierge services that will be able to recommend on a good restaurant, doorman that can assist with the luggage, comfortable bed and pillows. In case those matters are important for you then the Flemings hotel is not the right place for you.

The location was great. You can be in city center and the most famous shopping area in Frankfurt by just 3 min walking. The staff were really polite.

The lobby is not as similar as a 5 star hotel. Spa is mentioned as a facility but there was not a good spa and even for a massage they should ask from outside to do it in your room. Breakfast was also poor.
