Very nice hotel and well presented. I like the little cable car that takes you up to the hotel which is on the face of a mountain. Great breakfast!! |

The hotel itself is beautiful and the views are great. I loved the bed and breakfast feel of it while it is still a big hotel. It has a great restaurant and very good breakfast food. |

Good food, excellent sauna facility, warm and confortable. Not much else required since I was there for winter sports. Only thing that would add significant value is maybe a shuttle service from hotel to either bus stop or even to town. To bus stop is a good 20min walk and to town around 45 mins. Not good for heading out in the evening. Also main access is from cable car which closes too early and so you really are restricted unless you are willing to go on foot and endure a very steep walk after 10pm. |

very relaxing, fairly priced - we knew about all costs before getting there apart from the Sauna. However on the Sauna this was very impressive. rooms a little cold even on full heat. the hotel was too remote for the holiday we were doing - we needed to be nearer to the ski slopes and the centre to be honest. Very picturesque however despite this. |

The view from hotel room was fantastic. Nice location for hiking and seeing the Gorge. It is a bit of hassle dragging the luggage to cable car and to the hotel. But the cable car up the mountain was definitely an interesting experience. |

The breath-taking view from the room and the garden is worth referring to, and so are the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff are nice and friendly not only at the frontdesk but at the restaurant as well. We liked its half-pension system which allows guests to enjoy a wonderful 3-course dinner just for a 15- euro surcharge; especially the salad bar took our fancy. The approach to the hotel in a ropeway is fun, indeed, but the problem is there is no public transportation between the ropeway station and the city center ( the railway station or the bus depots, for example). The taxis are good and the drivers are kind, but a bit too much expenditure. |

Very friendly and accommodating hotel staff. Magnificent view of the Wetterstein mountains. Wonderful rooms. It would be nice to have had some tissues available in the rooms. The kitchen is open to the walkway from the reception desk to the side door. The first impression is that there is a strong unpleasant smell (Sauerkraut?) when entering the hotel. Maybe a glass wall or an exhaust fan could eliminate the kitchen odors. |

The gondola ride to the hotel was a unique and fun experience! The hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly. The view from the shared balcony at the end of our hall was lovely. Somewhat difficult to access for older or disabled guests, but the hotel and gondola operators were quick to offer assistance with luggage and such. |

Awesome place. Cannot drive anything larger than a small car up the road. The lift is something you should not miss even if you can drive up! Beautiful place for wellness; fresh air, amazing views, top grade accomodations! Would recommend again & again. Definately returning to this one! |

Wonderful location with an unforgettable experience of riding a cable car to the actual hotel. Fabulous view from the rooms and location. Small bathrooms but that is to be expected in Germany. |

Loved it when the sun shone but because of its location it could be bleak in the rain !! You suggested in your info that the hotel was accessible by car in the summer but our experience was that because the track is steep and narrow it would need 4 wheel drive. The hotel location was great fun and we got to love the little cable car. We would definately go back and recommend it to friends but with the caviat that you need to be fairly active to get your luggage up to the hotel. |

fantastic views from our bedroom window. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cable car ride to reach the hotel is an experience! Our bed was extremely uncomfortable and squeaked every time you turned over in it!Rooms rather small. |
