Grand City Hotel Düsseldorf Königsallee (ex. Four Points by Sheraton Central Düsseldorf)  

The location is quite convenient. The bathroom is big enough and clean.

I paid the total fee online before checkin, but upon checkin, they still blocked 50 euro/night via my credit for some guarantee. Also they promised the blocked money will be back on the day after the check-out, but it's been 2 days, i haven't rcvd anything back. ;(

Great location, nice and helpful staff

I've paid 112eur for a Comfort room, but it sould cost at least twice less. Old furniture/equipment, cheap bath amenities. Water in shower all the time changes temperature from hot to cold. Poor breakfast. Wouldn't rate more than 3*. Don't like to stay again.

The good are only the location.

Very old hotel, My room was awful for Comfort room Not for 4 star hotel. For 3 and maybe!

hotel staff wer un helpful, hotel was to noisy if someone closed a door down the corridor it would be like someone closing it in your room , their was no facilities except a vending machine, no room service an worst of all the cleaners would knock at 7 am yes 7 am to clean your room whether you had a sign on the door or not in the end terrible expierence an ruined my new year trip, it must be bad i am not one to complain ever...

Location of this hotel is very good, close to Koenigsallee and to the city centre there was a balcony in the room. Mini-bar was free and filled up with every room service, but included only, Coke, Apfelschorle and pure and sparkling water.

I was staying in this hotel in January 2012, outside temperature was around +7 in day-time, but its was very very cold in the room, there was no real heating system only conditioner that didn't warm room and fan of it was working very loud. After asking for help with heating from staff they offered to change the room but said that it wouldn't change the temperature inside the room dramatically, so all rooms in hotel are cold, but they also offered additional heater. Also I was able to hear everything that my neighbours were doing. So hotel is not acceptable for families with children. All these on my opinion unacceptable for 4* hotel.

Location

The room we were given was in another building, ajoined by an indoor pathway,As soon as you opened the door to this part of the hotel it smelt very damp. As did our room.It also didn't feel as though we were part of the hotel. My twin sister and her husband were on the 4th floor. Lighter and brighter. Our room was dark and old fashioned. The breakfast room only had tables for two.. since there were four of us it wasn't what we wanted.

Location is excellent! Königsallee is a 3 min walk.

Hotel is a bit outdated. Room was not cleaned properly (found a pair of socks and the showergel from the previous guest). Rooms are really small and poorly ventilated. Keeping the window open is very noisy when sleeping on the street side.

Nice hotel in a quiet street,5 minutes away from main shopping street,10 minutes away from railway station (visit to Cologne is a must).Free soft drinks and water in mini bar every day.
