Hotel Freisinger Hof  

Comfortable, good Internet and desk, good food, friendly &helpful staff, close to city tram, quiet, view over English Garden, a huge park, with birdsong and lots of good walks. A bit of country in the city. Small useful gym. Very relaxing..just what I wanted to recover from long flight from Australia when I had to bring work with me.

Nothing really. My room on top (third) floor was fine for one person, but it has a dormer window which means ceiling slopes low over one side of bed. Couples should seek room on lower floors..

We arrived at midnight but the hotel staff still waited for us and even lead us to our rooms. Very polite and friendly. And the breakfast in the morning was just great!!!

Wonderful little hotel. Room was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The fruit bowl was a nice touch and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was superb (well worth the additional fee charged) Whilst listing the hotel as only 12 minutes away from the city centre is technically correct, Marienplatz in the heart of the city is at least half an hour away by tram. That said, we were on a weekend break and in no rush so the daily commute between the city centre and the hotel was painless and easy using the tram which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Travelling between the airport and hotel was also straight forward and painless using the S8 train and then a short bus ride. All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and will definitely stay there again (in the summer next time !)

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, clean nice room with spacious bath (bathrobes and slippers are given free of charge), quite and romantic balcony.

Everything was perfect.

Hotel is well located for those who need a fast ride to an airport. It's also a 12 minutes taxi drive to Odeon Platz (15 Eur). 20 minutes by tram to Deutsches Museum. Hotel is very cozy and has a very advanced garage for the cars. Breakfast is tasty and you'll have enough to survive till lunch. There is a big English Park nearby.

Breakfast is not included into the rate which automatically increases your bill for 20 Eur at check-out.

Amazing place! Right on English Garden with a quick drive into the center. Rooms are nice with huge bathrooms, very clean and they leave fruit and chocolates in your room. .people were so nice and would bend over backwards for you. The restaurant next door is top notch as is their free breakfast. Used the sauna down stairs and they put out some snacks and water out for us. They have bikes available 24/7 for free guest use. Just cant say enough about this place.

Tutto molto curato. Non e nel centro, ma ci hanno dato le biciclette e abbiamo fatto giro citta in questo modo. Albergo molto carino. Colazione sontuosa.

Fantastic breakfast. We ate at the restaurant on both nights, and really loved eating in the garden. Good food, enormous portions. Restaurant and hotel staff were very helpful and welcoming. We borrowed bikes to ride around the English Garden, it was great.

It would have been good to have an option of interconnecting rooms.

When I made the reservation the paperwork said breakfast was not included so we did not go to breakfast. When I checked out at 10 am I was told that we had been charged $40 euros for breakfast even though we never ate breakfast. I feel that I was incorrectly billed. the confirmation sheet should not say breakfast is not included if I must pay it.

Free parking, complimentary fruit and wine in the room, excellent breakfast (one of the best I had in the 4* category).

Location is good to reach the motorways if you are traveling, but to reach the city center, the nearest S-bahn station is not so near as described on booking.com (it's a good 25min walk). Also our room didn't seem to have air conditioning.

Clean and well maintained, thoughtful details, family-run gem of a hotel, and a nice neighborhood.

Although seemingly far from the center of town, getting right into town on the nearby tram was easy and interesting as we passed by many different Munich neighborhoods. The hotel is beautiful--the flowers in the lobby worthy of a spot in a palace. Fruit awaited us in both the lobby and in our rooms. We would recommend this hotel highly for facility and for the friendliness of the staff.

Smart choice for family if you want to stay for couple days in Munich as we did. Small low hotel is situated in the park zone but not to far from city centre and in the direction to Airport. Free undeground parking. The only tricky point: the reception and main entry is closed from 00 till 6 am ! My 5-years daughter liked tasty breakfasts!

Wir waren wieder voll begeistert vom Hotel. Sehr nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Frühstücksbuffet top. Im dazugehörendem Restaurant isst man sehr gut - man sollte allerdings unbedingt reservieren.
