I went to this hotel for its location. It is very close to Berlin zoo station, and there are many restaurants and bars to meet people.
Great location- amazing for food/drinks/s bahn/u bahn/bus to airport/shops Great price Good staff Free wifi Mini bar very fairly priced
Not 4 star Average room Creeking floorboards Thin towels All the above is fair but we paid £40 per night for a twin room which we felt dispite the above negatives was excellent and we would stay here again
perfect location, very close to the bus stops (lines 100 and 200). the rooms are warm and clean. The WIFI works pretty good from the 4th floor.
The breakfast seems to be little expensive. we wish we had a coffee kit in the room, as most of the hotels do.
The location is fantastic- especially to use the public transport. Staff are incredibly friendly and are always very helpful. Would definitely stay here again
The location of the hotel - just 20 meters from the U-bahn, in the center of the city.
We had booked the lux suite for 4 people, but photos looked better (and even are different) from the original interior. We had expected to have a little bit cleaner and tidy apartments.
Located in the very heart of shopping district
Breakfast is good, but very monotonous
The Azimut hotel is very well located by the Zoologischer Garten train station and off of the Kurfurstendamm. It is a major shopping area with a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. The hotel room was clean and we opted for a larger room which was quite spacious and easy to use for an extended stay. The bathroom, especially the shower, was still small, but it made up for this with a nearly instant supply of hot water.
While the bed was very comfortable the pillows were actually awful. Worse even then the typical large square pillows found throughout Germany. This was compounded with a pillow case that could not contain the pillow to try and keep it in a usable form. Extra pillows were readily available upon request, but in the end even trying to use several together could not make up for it.
I liked the location only
Bed and pillow quality very bad. Stain on all over the carpets. Rude receptionest. Very expensive breakfast.
Bed and pillow quality was terrible. Very old tv with some german channels I can barelly hear the voice. We try to talk to receptionist . She told us with the price you paid you will get this quality. Breakfast very expensive and very bad also. There were stain on the carpets all over the hotels.
Location , easy connection with U and Metro Bus,also to Airport, near shopping street, staff was very helpful ....price
Beds mattress was very bed,
very good location
Need carry the lagage by Hand from the first floor, you can't carry it if it heavy the bed is too soft, and very small of the room
Great located. Good place to stay for work
You expect more when you book 4 star. know better 3 star hotels in Berlin. Would not book it for holidays.
Good location, close to both S-bahn / U-bahn. 10 min walk to the big department store.
Unfortunately the quality of the mattress was very bad. Maybe it was broken? but I ended up having backache.
Place in center. Convenient
Room itself. Bed and quality of equipment is old. Very old carpet -must be changed everywhere first of all.
Excellent location Friendly staff
Noise from the streets Hotel is quite run down TV in the room was tiny and old
Bad toilets Bad lights
Staff, location, price.
The location could not be more ideal! We were amazed by the helpful and friendly staff. The area is a pricy one, however, there are really affordable areas not too far away. Getting around the city is so easy from there as tbe Zoo bahnhof is within easy, easy walking distance. One could crawl to the hotel from the Zoo bahnhof in a few minutes time were it necessary, it's so close.
Not a thing.
The view ok
To small room
the hotel's location is outstanding !!! minutes from the zoo, right in the center the staff was very friendlly and helpfull great value for money
the smeel every morning from the kitchen is not something ... the bathroom is small and doesn't look like the pictures in the website at all. also, when you walk in the tiny area of the bathroom the floor is realy moving under you feet
Location, value for money
Alot of stairs in the hotel, where you have to carry your bags yourself and no one available to help you
The ambiance is great at azimut hotel, the room was big and clean, a romantic setting and very nice view at the ku'dam!
The location of this hotel is excellent! From here one is within walking distance of the shopping district and you can get anywhere with the public transport. The area is viby and alive even late at night. Many restaurants in this area, from cheap to more upmarket. Friendly staff at reception. Excellent wifi reception!
The fact that one needs to climb two sets of stairs to reception and the lift. With heay luggage, as this was a shopping trip, it was a bit of a challenge.
The location is excellent. Breakfast is fine
Everything in the room is unbelievably old My room was 109 in ground floor -There are too many stairs in the entrance around 30 stair or more to reach to the reception and no path for wheelchair or big bags with wheels. -Bed despite its small size it is very uncomfortable. it is overused and you can feel the bed spring in your back when you lay down (some of the springs have cut the bed and went out) - we couldn't sleep well because of cars noise even with closing the windows. - Although we are in November , the room was hot if you didn't open the window , because of the carpet and no AC. -Carpet is so old and it's color has been changed in some areas. -light is dim. -Wifi during my 3 nights stay was not working from 7-10 pm I don't know what is the problem. I called the reciptionist and he said "I can't help you it is working" in late night and morning was working. -Staff one of them was unfriendly and unwilling to help, I asked him for a hot water by telephon he said " no hot water" in the other day I asked another one and gave me a kettle for deposit of 20€ (which was better than not having hot water at all).
Location is perfect. Metro is 2 minutes walk. Staff is extremely helpful. Great place to stay in Berlin!
It was a bit noisy out of the room.
