Garden Hotel Krefeld  

- The staff are great, helpful & friendly. - The first stock mini bar is free. - 5 min walk to the Zoo, the Botanical Garden, Kaiser's & also Aldi Super markets. - The room size is fair & the are clean. - Good for long stay periods due to Budget, Staff & location combination. Definitely if i'm going back to Krefeld Again i'll choose to stay at Garden hotel.

- The reception is in the 10th floor. - You have to take two different lifts to reach to your room [[The one from down stairs & another one from the 10th floor to the 8th floor]] - The furniture is somehow old school fashion, but it's in very good condition.

To take 2 escalators to access at rooms.

The minibar was for free. But no information about free minibar.

It was too expensive but the hotel and the breakfast is not so good.

We stayed at the Garden Hotel a few times and always enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the helpful personal,the excellent breakfast in a dining-room on the 10th floor with a beautiful view.

the staff is friendly, the rooms were clean

access to the rooms was difficult as you need to use two different lifts to different floors to reach your room. I checked in 29 august the room was warm when you open the window you can here the traffic.

The room was clean and bright, the beds fine, the breakfast good.

The lifts (you needed two and change to get to your room) were minute and claustrophobic. The balcony was not individual and felt a bit like a concrete sixties tower block. The pillows were made of cheap bouncy foam. The whole experience felt like staying in a budget hotel.

This hotel was in an easy to find location and provided adequate parking. The room was immaculate and the beds amongst the most comfortable we have ever slept on. Also provided was a small fridge with some complimentary items, which were very much appreciated. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever had and the dining room and staff were very customer friendly.

Apart from the strange lift formation - you have to go up to the tenth floor to register at reception and then use another lift to go down to the floor on which you room has been alocated - which was quirly, but not a problem, there is litle to complain about in this hotel. The only niggle i have, and this seems to be common to all German hotels, is that no facilities to make a hot drink are provided in the room. Everywhere else in the world does this, why not in Germany?

Situated on main Krefeld/Duisburg road,so on autobahn within minutes. Hotel on 8th-tenth floors. Quiet. Fantastic views. Ultra friendly staff, who spoke very good English,& helped us with our German. Breakfast good. Would definitely stay again.

Onsite parking limited, but free street parking fairly easy in area. Bit of a walk to restaurants in evening, although this didn't matter to us..

Nice, spacious, clean room. Very friendly staff. Good position of tghe hotel.

Tolle Aussicht

La propreté. La gentillesse du personnel. Hôtel à recommander à Krefeld. Very clean. The staff is helpful, you have a feeling of being a member of their family. Excellent price/quality ratio. With 24 hours transit pass you are in business. Burg Linn is a nice medieval village by tram 15 minutes.

het ontbijt was een 4 sterren waard het was super werd constant bijgevuld en alles supervers er was zelfs fruitsap voor diabeticie de kamer was wel heel sober maar ook proper

er zijn veel te weinig parkeerplaatsen 8 maar bij het hotel terwijl in de folder staat genoeg parkaarplaats je kunt parkeren op een parking van een supermarkt

Zimmer und Bad alles prima, Internet vorhanden WLAN. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, manches Mehrsterne-Hotel ist nicht so gut aufgestellt. Ein Lob an die Mitarbeiter! Neu für uns war der Marmeladen- und Honigspender. Tolles Gerät - an dieser Stelle kleckert es in anderen Hotels meistens unansehnlich. Solche Spender sollten vielöfter in den Hotel-Frühstücksbuffets eingesetzt werden.

Der WLAN-Zugang ist sehr langsam, kein normales Arbeiten möglich. Der Fahrstuhl ist ein Problem, man muss zunächst in den 10. Stock (zur Rezeption) und von dort mit einem anderen Fahrstuhl runter in den z.B. 8. Stock (zum Zimmer) und das in einem sehr engen Fahrstuhl mit Koffern. Mit Koffern passen höchstens 2 Personen in der Aufzug. Das könnte für Ältere ein KO-Kriterium sein. Aus der Internetanzeige über Booking war das nicht zu erkennen. Aber es waren dort Zimmer frei und der Preis war für die 1 Nacht, die wir dort waren, noch verträglich.

Die zentrale Lage und der Preis. Die Betten und das Zimmer sowie das Bad waren sehr gut.

Des travaux de renovation sont en cours (facade) dommage que la climatisation ne soit pas au programme. La temperature dans les chambres etaient fortes.Point important à améliorer pour les périodes estivales.
