Score from 290 reviews Very good
Set next to Nuremberg’s historic city wall, this quiet 3-star hotel enjoys easy access to the old quarter, pedestrian area, and attractions including the Kaiserburg castle and Hauptmarkt market...

Location and room
Location and value of the money
1. Location is near the U-bahn "Weiber turm" station and close to shops. Walking to old town is about 10 mins. 2. Breakfast is very good. 3. Staff are very nice.
suna/swimming pool/room quality are just fit its price. Breakfast is plentiful!
Great location to shops, underground station and 5 min walk from Xmas markets at the big square.
No WiFi signals in rooms!! Misleading to advertise there's free WiFi when you can only get it at reception.
The location was very convenient for sightseeing.
Because the hotel is in the central old-town area, you can hear the noise on the streets at night. Soundproofing was poor. No supermarket nearby for a quick drink at night.
Wonderful (appearned to be new) in a nice section of Nurnberg. It was about a 7 minute walk to the Christmas market. Their elevator went directly from the street level to your floor in which your room was located. This was very nice with all the luggage. The room was rather on the small side, however that's to be expected in a big city like Nurnberg. The room was very clean with nice sound proofing windows. Front desk staff (morning & evening ) both spoke great English and were very helpful. The breakfast was GREAT!, it had a wonderful selection. I would stay there again (see note on Parking)
Parking was "not" close so I elected to park right down the street and paid 20.00 Euro. The front desk "DID" however warn me it would be expensive (20.00 euros). I elected to park right on the street vs. their parking which you need a map to get to. I prefered to pay 20.00 Euros vs. their 12.00 Euros to be right next to the hotel. They should try and work an arrangement with the local parking garage.
1 min walk to Weisser Turm U-Bahn, 5-8 min walk to Hauptmarket, 2 min walk to Breite Grasse shopping lane...from all these locations you can connect to all other attractions by walking:)
Should have some music in the breakfast area to lift the spirits and create a more lively atmosphere in the cold quite morning.
Close to the city center
Worst wifi that i've ever found. Always going down. Barely impossible to use.
Good location, clean, nice room
Very noisy, seemed like you sleep on the street, you will hear everything. Very bad insulation. Wifi only in the lobby, in my room 42 wasn't any connection. Poor breakfast, problem with hairdryer in room.
The location is unbeatable! The rooms are clean & comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in anything. Loved that I found this place!
location breakfast staff
no wifi in the room the room should be better soundproof
Friendly service, clean, good location in the Altstadt, nice breakfast
Friendly, helpful staff. Fabulous breakfast. Lots of great places in easy walking distance, close to tram, bus and train. Big, comfortable room.
Elevator only went to 4th floor, room on 5th floor,
Breakfast was good & lots of choice. Elevator. Very close to the shopping streets, market square & centrum. Beds were comfortable.
Announcement said free parking. This free parking is next to a very busy road. Paid parking nearby the hotel was quite expensive (12-20e / day) and some not always available. Wifi only in the common breakfast room. Stain on the sofa/chair. The inchecking was suppose to be starting at 2 pm but it was not. We waited in front of a cloth shop with our stuff and had to call the hotel to have the door open. After small arguing, the door was opened to us and we were welcomed in by the cleaning lady who was not speaking English well. We were supposed to get a queen size bed but we got two one person beds next to each other instead.
Excellent room and location. Very close to city centre and U-Bahn station Wesser Turm. Good choice for city-seeings.
No Wi-Fi in the room. Breakfast is basic and limited.
Breakfast was outstanding, as was every staff member. Most helpful with every question we had.
Our room was comfortable but smaller than one would expect.
Nice quiet location
Need more pillows or firmer pillows.
Excellent service, very good breakfast, free parking about 5 mins walk away, kettle provided on request, location
Fairly small room (but not bad for a city hotel of it's type). Church bells!
Best part was the included breakfast served in a lovely room with beautiful soft yellow linens and a small outdoor patio surrounded by a rooftop garden/green space. Definitely the fanciest room we had breakfast in on our trip...unusually nice. The breakfast spread was generous and beautifully served. Free wifi was provided, but you had to sit in the lobby...at least with our room. our room had pretty windows overlooking the same green space of naturally growing plant and small trees. Liked the individually controllable heating radiators in the bathroom and bedroom areas. smaller sized room, but comfortable...simple decor, but pleasing to the eye. Non-smoking building, which we loved...only allowed outside. Easy walking distance to the Old Town sites and park where they have their Fall Festival booths and music. I'm guessing the same place they have a Christmas market. Also, parking on the streets in front of it is free on Sundays...maybe Saturday, too? If you stay Sunday, if you pay the nite ahead- one, maybe two euro- you can park until 11 Monday morning. Very nice and cheap! The desk help spoke English well and in a nice way...if you know what I mean- not impatient, rude or abrupt. The morning gal was even warm and smiled! : ). Also liked the squeeze bottle of soap/shampoo proved on wall in shower and by sink, although it tends to drip on the floor and is hard to control the amount you get. overall, a very nice place and great value with the included breakfast especially!
Trickiest thing is seeing it from the street as it's just got a rather small sign on the street. There's a little sidewalk that goes back in next to the sign that you access an entrance to the shop next door as well as the hotel. Be careful with the key! I woke up first and went out to the lobby to do some internet planning and locked the door in a way that my husband was UNABLE to open! Didn't know that could even be possible and could be incredibly dangerous in case of fire or the like so practice if you leave someone in the room. when I got back, my husband found a position where the room would have still been locked, but he could have still come out, Who knew? ALso, make sure to be there to check in by 8 pm/ 20.00 or you 'll be locked out and unable to even enter the building. (At check in you get a room and building key). Not unreasonable, but if traveling, you want to plan extra margin for unexpected traffic delays, which we experienced quite a bit of in Sept. lastly, would have been nice to connect to wifi in our own room...
Location, location, location!
There is no internet connection! Very weak wifi only in the breakfast room. Only one available PC for all guests was broken. Receptionist was more interested in her private phone conversation then in fixing the PC. Breakfast was not as good as last year. Bed in the room was not comfy (not sure if broken) We were kinda disappointed and not sure to come back.
