The non-smoking Hotel Kernen is located in quiet position, on the outskirts of Esslingen. Due to excellent transport links the city centre is well accessibly by public transportation and by car.
Our modern guest rooms are all fitted with comfortable beds and internet access.

Area information

Directly located on the outskirts of Esslingen, with beautiful view of the nothern boroughs. The Esslinger Höhenweg – a popular hiking path – is in direct proximity of the hotel. Near the hotel you will also find a sport airport for paragliding (open for the public every Sunday). Only a few driving minutes from the hotel is the town of Remstal, which is renowned for its vineyards and wine parlours. The city centre of Esslingen can be reached in about 7 minutes by car or 12 minutes by bus.

Friendly staff, good breakfast.

Located down a long narrow lane, could be difficult to find without a GPS.

This hotel was lovely in stunning surroundings, a beautiful traditional German hotel. Rooms were welcoming, spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was really friendly and put us to shame, his English was excellent! Breakfast was great with fresh rolls, fruit and cereal every morning. The owner even left the kettle, tea bags, sugar and creamers out for general use.

Hotel à conseiller abslument, dans une zone urbaine très calme, proche
de Stuttgart, très verte (utilisez le gps pour trouver l'hotel), acceuil
excellent, petit déjeuner très correct. Hotel familiale avec peu de
chambres ou tout le monde dialogue facilement. Rapport qualité prix
exeptionnel.

Rustige omgeving

Behang was erg geel en liet hier en daar los. Ook was het restaurant alleen open tijdens het hoogseizoen. Helaas stond dit niet vermeld op de website.

het ontbijt

De matras en de bedbodem van het bed en de kussens hebben ons geen goede nachtrust bezorgd. De kamer is voor 2 personen en er stond maar 1 stoel.

goed hotel voor een mooie prijs, goede kamer en prima ontbijt

Het is wat afgelegen maar met eigen vervoer is dat geen probleem en dat wisten we vooraf. Openbaar vervoer is goed en niet duur.
