Small hotel with lovely big bedroom and shower room. Friendly hosts. Nice and relaxing place to stay.

Too far away from Heidelberg to walk in.

We had a great stay here, the breakfast is the best that I had during the whole trip. Convenient parking, quiet neighborhood, clean and large rooms. Volker was very friendly and helpful.

Great staff, really cosy environment, great and abundant food at breakfast, included internet access. I had a single room, which still was large and well furnished, including a TV+dvd/divx player with usb port allowing me to watch my movies on the tv instead of laptop.

This hotel is a real gem. Volker made us feel very welcome from the minute we booked. He sent us an email thanking us for booking with them and gave us a list of places that might interest us in the Heidelberg area. When we returned he also sent us an email thanking us for staying with them. The place is spacious, very clean and bright. Everything is of the highest quality. Had a great range of foods for breakfast and his wife was willing to cook up eggs any way we wanted. It is a little way from Heidelberg but if you have a car there is absolutely no problem. I wished we could have stayed longer.

Everything was excellent. No restaurant but several excellent restaurants in the next town,Schwetzingen about 3k away, one of which had its own microbrewery. The Schwetzingen schloss gardens and estate are magnificent and have reduced admission price after 17.00. Excellent location to visit Speyer and Heidelberg.

This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Heidelberg and the surrounding area. The owners are very friendly, the buffet breakfast is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. If you need help finding places in the area just ask, they will give you directions and suggestions. The car ride into Heidelberg is very easy and direct. We had a lot of fun biking along the bike paths with the bikes we borrowed from the owners. You are close enough to both Heidelberg and Schwentizger that you can bike to them. We drove along part of the Castle Road and explored two ruin castles, hiked to the ruuin amplitheater in Heildeberg and visited the palace in Schwentizger plus other adventures. When visiting Heidelberg, this is the place to stay!

The nice breakfast ,friendly welcome and good car park .Easy car access to Heidelbergen and Schwetzingen. There are plenty of nice restaurants in nearby Schwetzingen which is about 5 mins drive with easy parking. It would have been easy to have got a taxi to/from there for dinner.

We were originally booked in for 3 nights and were so delighted with this hotel that we extended our stay for 2 extra nights. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of restaurants in the local area to choose from for the evening meals. Very well located for touring by car to nearby attractions. We loved the friendliness of the owners, and followed their advice regarding day visits and had the best tourist experiences by following their suggestions. The ambiance of the hotel was totally friendly and relaxed. We will definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

A wonderful hotel and an extremely friendly and welcoming owner. The room were more like a flat with a seperate living dining area. Well worth staying there.
